Re: 2019-2020 Coaching Changes List

Nowadays it seems like public schools have more of the upper hand when it comes to "recruiting" players. They have a youth program that funnels kids to their HS program AND they can encourage players to open enroll at their school. Seems to me public schools have the advantage...

Re: Seniors not being allowed to play in state tournament

What are everyone's thoughts on seniors not being played, even for a few shifts, during state tourney games - just for the sake of winning? The State tourney is not the place to make sure that seniors get playing time BUT I do think that it should be possible for every coach to get kids on fo...

This is a joke right, there is no way breck would even compete day in day out with AA teams. The reason they are A is that they know they would not even make the AA tournament. A Class hockey is a joke one or two good teams, the rest would not make the top 40 in AA. So you beat #39 and # 38 in stat...

Post-Season Tournaments

Maybe this has already talked about but I heard there is going to be a tournament/games for all non-committed players to show off their skills for junior and college scouts. When and where will this be?

I agree...

If teams dont like it....stop em

I feel Breck could compete with the best teams in the state, but they're not the best team in the state.

havent been impressed by Gardiner at all...I've been watching him during his shifts...seems really lazy. doesn't hustle back or move his feet unless he has a chance to get the puck. I dont know if its just because they've played several games, but in my opinion hes not playing like a complete player...

Just wondering if someone out there with some knowledge of the Breck roster could help me out. I'm just curious where each player played their youth hockey? Not trying to start anything, just would like to know. I know a few come from the Mpls area, plymouth/wayzata, chaska, champlin, St. Louis Park

I have not watched Edina this year but looking at their schedule they must be solid once again this year... The games either going to go two ways: 1. Jefferson takes the thoughts from their terrible game last year and uses it to sneak out a win... 2. Edina will come out strong and score early to rat...
