Erik Johnson had 24 points in 41 as a freshman and was plus eight. He was also 6'4" and could skate. That seems pretty ready to me.drop the puck wrote:Johnson (#1 pick overall) did not look ready in his Freshman season. At Gopher games you would think, what did the Blues' scouts see in him.

I'm not talking about just buddish and okposo i'm talking about every single person who has ever played a game of minnesota high school hockey. those were just two examples, there are hundreds of people who have played here and gone on to the nhl, many of whom were all stars and hall of famers. don...

all of you need to shut up and stop trying to pretend that the rochester ice hawks are some insignificant team. joey benik, who is the all time leading scorer in the ENTIRE HISTORY OF MINNESOTA HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY is currently playing in the mnjhl. he got more goals than zach buddish, kyle okposo, o...

Re: Mercy Rule
After the recent 22-0 win for Virginia against Silver Bay, many people seemed to be upset by such the huge deficit. Do you think there should be a mercy rule enforced? If so, by what score? If not, why?[/img] There already is a mercy rule. If a team is leading by 6 or more goals in the third period...

Re: you are looped!!
The term "circle talker" still confuses me. I have one position on topics and that doesn't change; not sure how you get a circle of that, but oh well. The point wasn't any one specific thing, that's why the "etc" was there. My ranks are based on the scores at the end of the game...

Re: you are looped!!
Breck beats a team twice in a year and you rank that team higher!! Only two goals!?! The refs gave Breck a weak checking from behind in overtime to give STA the game!!!!! Yeah. Circle Talker has a tough time figuring some stuff out. Like how the Wright County Conference champion is unranked behind ...

I like what the Wildcats do and in my opinion they are what the league is all about. Why? The Ice Hawks are good every year. However, they have a team made up of a bunch of 89s and 90s...kids that are going to age out of juniors playing Tier 3. The Wildcats only have one 89 and a hand full of 90s. T...

Re: Class A Rankings 2-28-10
Yeah, and your #29 team is 6-0 combined against your #8, #12, #18 and #22 teams and 1-1 vs. your #15 team. Just sayin'.HShockeywatcher wrote:What's wrong with 21-23?fivehole628 wrote:1-20 seems about right

Re: Sleepy Eye Wins!!
Sleepy Eye Knocks off Fairmont 3 to 1 Stellar goaltending sends SE into the Next round to face Hutchinson. For Fairmont after one of their best seasons in sometime (Including getting their first conference win since 2001!) and earning a home playoff game this a tough way to bow out. Good for the Sl...
