You get drafted as a 15 year old and 90% of the kids don't play the first year. They draft your rights so that when your ready to play as a 16 or 17 year old, that they have you. <p></p><i></i>

Edina 2000 team was much better then this years E.P. team. Hagemo would've dominated the entire team like he did all of 2000. Also Thang, Matt Andres, Justin Milo... oh add Joe Finley (only playing as an 18 year old for North Dakota) <p></p><i></i>

Yes, there's 12 districts and the top 8 go to a 8 team bracket... like in the state tournament. The bottom 4 from the seeding games play in a round robin and play each other. <p></p><i></i>

I'm Zach Budish from Edina. Thanks, Everson just knows how to put the puck away a LITTLE bit against Lee especially. 4 goals the first time and now 3 the second. It's not too hard for me when I pass him the puck, 9 out of 10 are in the back of the net. <p></p><i></i>

I would say EP wasn't the best team ever. The 2000 Edina DOMINATED every game. Where did we complain? Centennial won fair and square and are the state champions. 3 of our 4 games were very close the whole way so it could've gone either way but they just played better that day and deserved to win. <p></p><i></i>

First of all, why are you comparing this years varsity team with the future? People on the varsity team this year even said they were terrible. They were actually kindof lucky to get a #4 seed. Also, for Gaarder, Everson and Budish, as of now NONE of them go to private schools or are planning on it....
