The numbers are not accurate. The only accurate numbers are those from the MN Department of Education which show that virtually all children enter kindergarten at age 5. Appendix D Delayed entry into kindergarten is a myth - it does not happen http://education.state.mn.us/mdeprod/groups/EarlyLearnin...

Ppg- Perceived personal gain cannot be the litmus test for making wholesale rule changes. I understand that you favor June 1 because you believe it provides an advantage to your Son. However, MH is obligated to apply a higher standard. Changing the cut-off date is not an effective strategy in age gr...

JSR - "the masses" do not exist . This was an early cornerstone of the June 1 fraud.

The Board can't support June 1. They realize it redefines who is born late in the competiton year. June 1 only shifts the effects of relative age and they don't have just cause to suport it.

I'm not necessarily for or against June 1 Obviously any move away from the the start of school (September 1) will reduce the number of kids that can play with their classmates. I'm not sure thats a good thing Thats implicit - data is not needed for that. Just because you think it will benefit your k...

The July 1 birthday was what USA Hockey went to, so ask them why,MN Hockey moved back from Sept 1 and also the birth year also was changed to match USA Hockey. The season for Mn Hockey starts Sept.1 and ends in March. So if an age change is needed then Sept 1 but also change the birth year to the w...

But our highly scientific survey showed that Minnesota Hockey is vastly different in terms of demographics from the results found in the montains of data that already exist.

That is apparently the forthcoming "real data" referred to by MH in the Age Update.
