Nu2hockey With all due respect, they wouldn't compete for a U14 national championship?!? Are you serious? I mean by your name I guess you're not over stating your background but this group is not a typical AAA team with some high end girls and a bottom that they have to hide. This is a an all star 2...

I think it's very close between those two and I was trying to adjust for my bias. Farmington will be very strong though. River Lakes could be a sleeper too depending on how many returners they have from that state champion B team they had last year. I know some real good players return just don't kn...

Its a whole new team, I would guess over 3/4 the girls moved up to another level (U14? or High school) Same could be said for Chisago High School Boys - 2 years ago had a showing at the State and last year struggled... If you're talking about Forest Lake, you are absolutely correct. The only holdov...

I deeply regret allowing Gotothenet to get me upset like he did. I was very angry and said some things that were inappropriate. To be clear, I have never said that we have all of the best 2003 girls in the state and I did not say there weren’t 2002s that could beat us; just that Gotothenet wouldn’t ...

Listen, I'm tired of arguing with you. You're the one calling them future Olympians, not me. I know what good 03's look like and we have many of them. You're the one making this a crazy issue. You might know more about 01's but you do not know more about 03's than me. These are very good hockey pla...

You don't think I know what the 03's look like around the country? Canada? That's why we travel Captain D bag, so we can see what's out there. Guess what? We compare favorably to the reset of North America. I guess you're the expert though, sitting in Minnesota, judging everyone and guessing how goo...

I just read your message again. Why don't you bring your team to Andover for a scrimmage? You can impress us all with your USHL knowledge while we kick your ass. Oh, but we'll be better educated about what to and not to do to get out kids to the next level by AN EXPERT!. Oh but that's right, we didn...

Oh silly me I am so embarrassed I can't believe it took me this long to figure it out. Huskie Hockey see I was thinking college hockey, but I am guessing the ole Huskies you speak is the Andover Huskies! This all makes perfect sense now why your so senstive. Let's review the team again and see how ...

Huskie I know the AAA landscape very well at the 01,02,03 levels. You see I was asked to watch the up coming kids for my daughters college coach back here in MN. I have been helping out for a couple of years now. So I take the time to know who is who and the landscape. I love the whole MN 03's thin...

You see I am also very close To this group since my youngest is only 1 year older. I think it's funny after being fortunate to have two older players go through the youth ranks and end up college players to watch all the parents at this age drink the kool aid about what you need to do, where you ne...

Funny I never said don't play to win at all costs. What I said was you may be bitter if your daughter does not play a lot. Unless you are part of the core which you might be then she will. I am not a fair play parent and happen to have two older players both playing college hockey. One male and one...

Some clarification about Andover. Total non school based waive ins to the girls program last year were 3. Two played 12A and one played 10B. At the time we agreed to take these players there was a concern that we didn't have enough girls to field viable (at least ten skaters) teams at both levels. T...

D6 - I acknowledge that this isn't life changing stuff but if you're bored with it I'm sure there are other threads that are missing your riveting commentary. Royals - I'm not debating what constitutes good summer development. I love 3 on 3 leagues, rink rat hockey, etc. and believe those are all gr...

couldn't agree more Deep Breath. I've said it earlier in this thread, where does it stop and start and who gets to decide? No excuse. To follow up on an accusation made by montoya; how is what I'm doing selfish? In what way? I wish i knew how all of this was serving me. I considered it the opposite....

I'm not with the Machine and I can't speak for them, but I would say the Edge should have had her rostered if there was any chance she was going to play in the tournament. That team's success or failure in the tournament is not relevant to the rules. So a bad team gets to cheat and a good team can't...

it was suggested, and followed, that players play summer hockey at the level they'll play at in the fall. Enough already! Observer is a pretty smart cat, and he doesn't quite get it either, so I'm not sure why a couple ladies, apparently from Andover and, without caring to spend any time looking in...
