Brokaw doesn't surprise me. The guy is a real beauty. My son played for him at Providence Academy and he was a knucklehead. If he was mad at a player on the other team, he would tell specific players to go target him and put the hurt to him. I hope no other high school will be dumb enough to hire h...

Now that's a pretty big claim, actually, considering the depth of the 2000 birth year around the state. Most are still playing PW or Bantam, of course... so, you know, hooray for early puberty and all that. I think the kid -- and the team -- pleasantly surprised all of those who gave Luverne no cha...

Totally agree. Wayzata is going AA/AA and I'm assuming B at PW and AA/A/B at Bantams Edina is going AA/A and probably 2 B1 at both levels (maybe 1 b1). One thing you gotta know,Bo, is MNH has the final say on each association's participation, not the other way around. My guess is they will get the ...

Just asserting an opinion, is that alright with you? Opinions are like _____, every one has one. This forum is interesting, it allows individuals to assert their opinion. It is alright for me to believe that the best 10 year olds the state of MN hockey has to offer did not participate in the Brick ...

Bummer. How many teams from each division make it to the weekend? I thought I heard announcer say quarterfinal round, which would mean four from each division. Couldn't find anything on website, can anyone confirm? Either way, great job team Minnesota! Way to go boys!!! 3 teams on each side advance...

Heartbreaking finish. Oh well, they can still advance out of the pool with some good results in the last two games. Yes, there are some very good players on that team. I think #11 is the very fast skater. That one defensive pairing is real fun to watch. They play real tight to the play with one bei...

Just watch some games from the other division. The two divisions are not equal. ATlantic, Saskatchewan and Minnesota are considered 3 of the 4 weaker teams in the tournament and they are all in the same pool. Good for Minnesota for competing as well as they have though. http://www.northamericanhockeyclassic.com/hockey-tournament-team.php?teams_id=239 So...this is the Team Minnesota? I like the logo, with the Wild homage. But I thought they were Team MN now, w/o the Blades? Also, 2 is from WI, 3 is from Europe and 4 is from WI and one of the goalies is from MO. I t...

Re: machine article

i think its fine for teams to play up a year but why wear different jerseys and play under a different name? This isn't the first tourn they have played as the attack. It must be that you are new to this and like I said before. IT'S A BUSINESS FOR PROFIT. Team attack is playing in next weekends Ind...

Nice players.
You'll notice 99% of hd41's posts are just to agitate. He is the ultimate troll. Blades machine is his favorite topic to try to get people worked up. He'll get over his obsession at some point.

Every year the same thing. The Blades get on their knee to beg the Machine players to go to The Brick. Every year Bernie is the Bad guy. Once in a lifetime is right. How many times can you spend $8000 on a trip to Canada to come in last place. Last year it was all about the coaches kids. Talk about sitting players. Just ask Blades families that went last year. -Tons of money -Crappy ice, never freezes because it is under a glass dom...

TooMuch: which team is that? We do our best to scrape sites and document all 9 levels (especially all of our T10 and close bys). survey: Wayzata is inching higher in our formula. I would say by next week they will pass Edina, no matter how well either plays this week. Here's how I know: Our formula...

Seems like there are about 5 sets of ratings out there. Based upon what I've seen, let's play hockey and Myhockeyrankings.com seem the most accurate. The second one uses some math equation to remove bias. Top teams seem the same on most.

Hey Terry Moore1717 is it true that the Blades have already replace the coach that was taking over for Gerry Anderson (Ed Zepeda) and are now going to join forces with the 99 Miracle Gold? I have heard nothing but good things about Ed Zepeda. Why would they involve miracle gold? Wasn't that coach f...

Re: 99 Blades to Replace Head Coach Gerry Anderson

Sunday I was at the 99 Championship game between the Machine and the Blades. I was next to a couple of parents. They had stated that the Blades leadership was "pulling the team from Gerry Anderson". This was his last game as a Blade. Anyone know more or why? From what I heard Gerry wanted...
