Who has committed or were offered tenders after this tourney. Were kids noticed that otherwise had been overlooked?

Frankly, I've heard GPAs count for almost nothing as nationally you're not comparing apples to apples with GPA. It's all test scores. Players going directly to D3 school and hockey in the fall please? A a parent of college student who did not test well but had great scholarship offers, I will say t...

interesting conversation -- You didn't get much of a response as to players going directly to D3 though, which is disappointing -- more of a debate about D3 hockey itself..... I agree with those that pointed out that some kids are simply LOOKING FOR AN EDUCATION not a CAREER in hockey.... And when t...

For the most part, I think strong JV teams tell us that a certain high school is very deep--which is something we can probably already know based on the depth of the varsity squad, or the size of the feeder association. Some good players will earn their dues there and turn into great varsity player...

Come on Karl, we all know your top 5 for next year. 1. DE 2. GR 3. Cloq 4. ER 5. FL Now, can you explain how GR jumps ahead of HM in your final rankings? Eh, I'd slide Elk River ahead of Cloquet. Very nice group of bantams coming up for the Elks. :P As for the Hill question, the rankings put a lot ...

Well JV is HS Hockey is largely irrelevant. The majority of JV kids will never skate a regular shift on Varsity. really? The majority of JV kids never skate Varsity? So every good player jumps right from Bantams to Varsity.... and what happens to the juniors and seniors then? They get bumped by the...

Not knocken' you cuz I think you do a great job, but..... did you do that this year? You commented earlier about missing, Bemidji but they had a jv team full of talented kids moving up to varsity; I think that jv team only lost one game all year. Those boys also went to state as PeeWees and Bantams...

when will Karl's 2011-2012 preseason rankings come out? Tomorrow. 8) ...or mid-November... There's a lot of research to do before then. Incoming bantams, graduations and early departures, transfers, advanced camps, Elite League...I'm going to pay attention to all of these things, at least to some d...

John Forseth - severe concussion James Bofferding - separated shoulder Eric Hernesman - knee injury That pretty much sucks! ... and in addition to Will Bruestle who has been out after surgery from a complete shoulder separation during the Roseau game. We'll just have to wait and see how bemidji handles the nerves of a big game since they haven't been to the section finals for about a decade. Im thinking their tails will be between the legs once they see how big of a crowd will be at this game. Ill take the SPUDS 4-1 I predict that crowd will jus...

Looks like I will be all alone on this one but the Taters win 5-2 with an open netter. These kids have been trashed by the papers, ripped in this post and bashed in the cafe. They will roll over the Jacks. As for state, that is a different story. The cities kids have been trashed, ripped and bashed...

If Moorhead isn't full strength (team suspensions?), I give the edge to my 'Jacks. Go Berrrmidji!! It's been 25 years for the Jacks! GO BEMIDJI! YOU CAN DO IT! Perhaps the kids should carry themselves with integrity and keep their noses clean. Hold people accountable rather than tryi...

Why all the hmm's? Isn't anyone going to help this kid out?? Here's the deal: You are welcome here but, understand that very few HS players frequent this page and of those, not many demonstrate a great deal of maturity.
