I know that Maht just beat SSP. BUT...everyone is forgetting that SSP beat them the first time around by a score of 5 to 1. They were a 2 seed but with this loss i feel they should drop no farther than 3. The only thing i think this game does is bring Maht up to 4 and Chisago down to 5. Should be an...

SSP should be the two seed in my opinion. 5 to 1 win over SLP and 5 to 1 win over Mahto. They also basically lost by one goal to STA who needed an empty netter to win 4 to 2. By playing the #1 team the closest they should lock up the #2 spot.

According to these rankings...3 out of the 4 top teams in state are from sectiong 4A. Should make from some interesting section games. Will STA run away with this one or will their be an upset lerking?

Goalie of the Year

Any ideas of the top senior goalie of the year? Now since Lyon left looks pretty wide open. Any thoughts?

A coach should never tell his players to "stop" scoring. Passing it around the other team is more embarrassing for the losing team in my opinion.

I was at the STA vs. SSP game and ssp's goalie Luke Palmquist played very well and kept them in that game.

he had one good glove save on a good player from ssp. Most of the night were far range shots that he could easily see. Yes, he played well. I'm just saying the quality scoring chances were not the best.

I also attended this game and SSP dominated the whole time. I think IGH had about 12 shots but no quality scoring chances. I wasn't impressed with Bade...SSP shot right into his chest everytime. He had about one real quality save.

Section 4A

Who will win section 4A? Seems to me the most intriguing section in class A. With the number one team in class A STA along with teams like Totino, SSP, Chisago, and the very disappointing Mahtomedi squad.

Simley will never be good again. Their best players will keep going to SSP to play. They have 2 really bad goalies and no one that is close to making SSP's varsity this year.
