Tough game for Mankato West, three disallowed goals, Amendolar played pretty well regardless, goals for Red Wing included some real good bounces their way. Special teams became huge and the Red Wing PK did a good job allowing only shots from the points trying to have Amendolar see nearly everything...

I was fortunate to be able to see him in between the pipes last month. great tender. big glove. average blocker side tender. doesn't give up a ton of rebounds. protects the five hole ok. plays more of a butterfly style goalie game. always gives his team a shot at winning. huge upside to this kid

thats a tough loss to swallow. you never want to lose against a terrible hockey program like prior lake. that must be tough on those kids. you work all year to get to state and you get bounced in the first round to a bottom dweller. but hey thats the fun of the game! Who is #6 on the elks? that kid is talented!! moves the puck up the defensive zone beautifully.

i saw providence play this year a couple months ago. They play pretty dirty. I think if i remember right, 2 kids got ejected from the game. but hey...you live and you learn!

I had rapids finishing last in that section at the start of the year. they are a true cinderella story this year. its great to see that kind of stuff. keeps the sport fresh and fun!

2007 class 5AA section championship game. Burnsville vs Acadamy of Holy Angels. Holy Angels were number 1 in state. Burnsville wsant ranked. Burnsville won 6-4 at marriucci. best upset ever in my book. And my book is always right
