Although I am no fan of the rule I think the alternative for a team that is solid but lacks the Quick Skating and stick handling is to teach those kids to skate and to stickhandle. That is what the ADM is trying to do to hockey. Not all bad is it?[/quote] Depends what your definition of all bad is. ...

I am going to say the bulldogs qualify as a good team. Duluth gotta be getting tired of Rau torching that town. He will have a bullseye on his back again tomorrow night. Tough kid.

Congrats Edina looks like they maybe tough to beat again this year. Lots of really good talent on both EP and Edina as the stats board reads the green just too deep!

$600 per player???? Yow! Ours are more like $150, and that's more than enough to cover pizza and say one additional tournament. I guess it depends on what your association fees cover. Ours are on the high side but cover virtually everything. Traveling is a HUGE underappreciated extra cost. It's like...

It's tough enough to have 1 good team let alone THREE! The cost to play there I heard is also is $2000. Teams are basically open level teams and at that price no thanks! I've heard that there is one invite level team at each age group. I think the organization needs to clarify. But this being their...

The 4v4 does not really compare to the 3v3 because it is a full sheet of ice IMO. I also noticed plenty of kids from different associations playing for different teams, I don't believe this happens as much at velocity. As far as the Fire kids go I just said they were nice additions, not the top play...

How does the level of competiton in the Ford 4v4 compare to Velosity's 3 on 3 tourney? History has shown Velocity teams that finish top 4 in the tournament from Bantam & Pee Wee's typically have been the top teams in districts, regions & state. Oh and can we please stop with the Fire player ...

It's probably 80/20 with nanne he is a D1 player but as a junior his name probably played into it.

Any predictions? Looks like the cream of the Minnesota crop at the 2000 level. Good luck to all participants. Should be some fun games to watch.
