Re: 3a

They could just play them once and double that games value. It's a good way to free up games outside of conference, especially when the result is pretty obvious. You must not understand the dynamics of a conference. Teams don't have the ability to say, "we are only playing HF once". I und...

Hey everyone. Was talking hockey with a couple guys today and we got in to 3A hockey. One guy said Brody Peterson wasn't even all-conference last year. We pulled up Hockey Hub and he led their conference in scoring but we couldn't find anything that said either way. Anyone out there know anything? ...

Re: 3a

Computerguy, if you have been following this thread we have been down this road already, look back a few pages. In 2,3 or 4 years Luverne might not want to schedule some of these teams. I understand there are teams closer to home to play, but litch might want to work in more section games s...

Re: 3a

Got it that Luverne has Jv. But you all are saying that hutch, litchfield, and Nu should play everyone in 3a. So is your argument that they should all play Luverne? If so its still a 3 hour drive and we still have a lot of conference games to play that are 45 min at best. Computerguy, if you have b...

Wrong! Hutch did outshoot LSH by a significant margin. High end scoring chances were similar. LSH is much better this year and Amsden is solid in nets. I expected a tight game and goaltending was the sole difference today.

QRF and rankings don't matter right now. If Luverne played A more challenging schedule, their record would look different. This is not a knock onLuverne, they are an improved team, but still a work in progress. Everyone knows section 3A is the place to be for a run t the X. Schools are praying to be...

These are not my rankings, but more who has the best chance to win the section.

Hutch - Battle tested in the Wright County Conference, will pay off come playoffs

New Ulm

Luverne

Marshall

I don't think anyone else has a chance to come out of the section.

Regardless of who the best team is in 3A, I would like to suggest that players let their play speak for itself. Too many athletes on here talking up their school. I don't see Edina, Eden Prairie, Wayzata, WBL, Roseau, Moorhead, etc......on here posting about who is better than the other. If some of ...
