correct. he has talked to some wcha and ccha schools, but no offers yet. if he plays well in indiana next season, he should get a D1 offer.

no. he was drafted by Indy in the USHL Futures Draft. kids who get picked up this way don't need 10 games like everyone else to be eligible for playoffs. so they will still have Fisher's rights.

INDIANA

That is correct. Fisher scored his first USHL goal in Indiana's 3-1 win over Sioux Falls. Oshie beat Indiana with an OT winner last night. Two fantastic northern MN players doing well in the USHL!!! Great to hear!!!

Re: dreamer

Moorhead is still 3 1/2 - 4 hours from the border. i wouldnt consider that northern. Duluth is still 3 hours from the border too. just because they are north of the cities (which is southern). get a clue and pull out a map people!!

moorhead

moorhead is only considered a northern team because it's north of the cities. it's right on the middle edge of MN. so why not just call them a mid-state team. HAHA the section 8 thing being with roseau and bemidji is why they are considered northern.

they aren't creating a bad name for the no...

Re: Elite League

some nice posts here.

i agree with packerboy and elliot70. the elite league is all about player development and exposure. playing at a high level with some of the best players in MN obviously helps kids develop. so some of you guys need to take off the blinders.

Breden

SB has the weakest schedule in the state. Even if Breden was a halfway decent player, he still hasn't ever been tested. The kid is too small and not good enough to go D-1, let alone D-3.

I Falls

yes, JP knows the game - of the 60's. it's 2005 now and time to move on. the game has changed. the kids up in IF do nothing all summer and sit there during the regular season and feel sorry for themselves (along with prettyman). he needs to quit talking to his players like they are his 5th grade stu...

Roseau should be good but Moorhead will still be the favorite regardless of the big senior loss.

8AA is getting very weak with only 1 or 2 good teams each year.

Anyone know how St. Cloud Tech will be?

Fisher

I think people need to look at the big picture before hacking on the kid. Fisher didn't leave IF for just exposure. He left for reasons besides that:

1) prettyman = poor coach
2) bahr = head case/coach's pet
3) broncos = worst t...
