According to responses, here are transfer counts for programs mentioned here so far: Looks like Eagan and Edina are tied for the most transfers of the AA state tourney field. Seperate from identifying specific kids, this string really seems to have struck a nerve. Three pages with postings from different areas of the state and several programs mentioned. It would be interesting to know which programs have the most transfer students, whether "legal" or not, play...

Almost as Happy- Love your idea of a one year suspension for the coach! It really does start and end there. The current transfer rule is a joke since there are no meaningful penalties. If it is important enough to have a rule in place, then there should be penalties that matter when the rule is bro...

And if this example is representative, then there is no teeth to enforcement. If they want to get tough, they could go NCAA route and ban a program from sectionals/State for a year or two. Which would really stink for the other kids on that team...so maybe a year-long suspension for the head coach w...

Face it, if you have the will, the money, and a coach that will take you, the transfer rule can be completely circumvented. Happens every year. Look at Eagan. Rosemount kids go there last year by the family "moving" into an apartment. This year a goalie shows up from out of state, and the ...
