Re: Columbia Arena closing
I feel the sorry for the players at both Bethel & Tri-State. traveling back and forth to practice will become a hardship. Especially the high school kids, for both the boys and girls teams. The superrink is not exactly next door. Columbia was a very nice home for Bethel. Good luck to all the tea...

Re: Elite II - Section 4A/AA
edidie, dont get me wrong. i think it is great that more kids can get out and play. but there are fall leagues out there where they could play. there are AAA teams to play on. but if there are rules, either in the selection process or MSHL, and if they are not being followed, then that is the questi...

Re: Elite II - Section 4A/AA
thanks CrossBar. but in reading this i find that in:
"May Not Do:
.....or placing athletes on a roster, developing or organizing a team roster, drafting players for a team, selecting, securing, or otherwise influencing the placement of athletes on a team for leagues, tournaments, camps, ...

Elite II - Section 4a/aa
Just a questoin. doesn't Mn high school league prohibit the hs hockey coaches to work with the hockey players from their school before Novermber? i know they can not be involved in the captain practices, and i do not see this as any difference. so how can a HS coach coach one of these teams? (with t...

Re: SB24
SB24-- offsidesguy was just responding to your statement "IF HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO BE WBL'S ASSISTANT ". then you come back with "YOUR TELLING ME THAT BECAUSE HE IS THE ASSISTANT COACH AT WBL THAT MEANS HE SHOULD BE THE HEAD COACH AT MV?" please, if you are going to make state...

Re: shloppy
in one of your posts you listed all of the talent that nitti had to work with and could not win. players like the two bostroms, houser, palmeri, and edwards. it is surprising that you only listed one defenseman, nor a goalie. it is hard to win in hockey without defense or goaltending, and that is so...

Re: Comparing MV wtih AHA?
puck-- you are right comparing mv to aha. i was just trying to say they have a different style of play and yet successful. those schools also have some very good players, but they still need to play the style the coaches dicate, not the other way around. how long does it take to make a successful pr...

re: shloppy
it appears you were not one of nitti's favorite. people here are upset about how nitti has been treated. every coach has his own philosophy on coaching and that is his right. to have parents dicate how a game should be play is not right, that is why you have a coach. if you (or your parents) do not ...

re: elite league
question-- is the league for players who have proven themselves or is it for players with potential?

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... kenny06 at: 7/13/05 9:26 am

re: st. olaf
st. mary's also has a rink on campus, but i will say, st. olaf's rink may not be the best, their fans are loud, noisy and it is crowded. their games are also on the internet/radio, something other schools do not have.

Re: Private Schools and Recruiting
Before you can make any believable statments, your facts need to support it. If Cameron Voss was recruited by STA out of moundsview, then why did he go to Cretin for 2 years? Didn't he just follow the Cretin coach when he went over to STA? Don't know how that is recruiting.
