But like Greeny said, I think part of it was also due to the lack of offensive zone passing we usually see out of Edina, more so after Wayzata's go ahead goal in the third. That said Edina was still by far the best passing team of the night especially in the neutral zone. So many rink wide passes t...

Hornet fan here, couple of interesting takeaways from last nights game. First, you've got to give credit where credit is due. Wayzata played a heck of a game. Fact of the matter is, successful teams capitalize on their opportunities, and the Trojans did just that. Edina had maybe 4 defensive lapses ...

I wouldn't have known any better had someone told me that Besse/Labosky/Moore didn't even play tonight. What a lousy game for that line. The best line was their second one, with Jungles and Kaske! Didn't Jungles get both goals? Either way, Wayzata deserved to win this one, totally outplayed em. And ...

Just my two cents: I think something that's been overlooked is Sprang. He is an average goalie who has flashes of brilliance, but more often than not will let in a weak goal. Dingman is a far superior goaltender who, coupled with Wayzata's shot blocking abilities, will be able to withstand even the ...

I think this photo should clear up all controversy. The puck clearly went in. The photo of it resting on the goal line was from it bouncing out of the net. It was a good goal, and the goal judge obviously had the best angle, and made the right call. Edina deserved to win, that's the bottom line. htt...

Essentially any Lake Conference Game is a rivalry game, with maybe the exception of Hopkins. Hailing from Edina, I can say that we enjoyed beating EP, Minnetonka and Wayzata equally. :) That being said, in recent years, it's mainly been Tonka and EP who have been our biggest rivals. In the years tha...

Help to Watch Games Online?
Hey Everyone, What are the best sites you use to watch games online? I know MSBN broadcasts some games, and I know Fox (North?) used to broadcast a lot online last year. There's another website that does it too that I can't remember (I had these on my computer at home before I left for college). Any...

JGB State
Did anyone else think Edina White deserved to beat RAVE in the semifinal game? That #17 from Edina had a monster game, scored the first 3 goals for Edina. Just seemed like the defense for Edina fell apart late in the game. Any thoughts? And also isn't RAVE basically the Apple Valley JGA team? Doesn'...
