Spehar 33, I understand you want to get this thread locked down (by throwing out nicknames) because your feelings are hurt and you don't like anyone to dare say anything bad about your beloved Bernard. However, your stab at wrapping coaches into this is once again off base. Keep trying it though for...

I wasn't suggesting the sky was falling. I was simply pointing out his program isn't what it used to be and frankly it isn't close. He's not getting the best players and the ones he does get, he is doing less with than he used to. The youth is the future and he is failing at connecting with those fa...

Bernie's Ship is Sinking

Ouch! Bernie's beloved '02 team lost two games in 24 hours to the Blades this past weekend. Orange Sherbert was outscored 8-3 and were beat and beat up by who MoWanchuk calls, "Team Tiny Dancers." Sherbert's record against their cross town rivals was a whopping 0-3 this season. Team has mo...

When my son didn't make it, I was told final roster with all the final parts would only play in Edmonton. I'm not bitter here but seems odd that they would not all be together in Winnipeg. Regardless, good luck. Hope results are better than Ly.

from credible source (who was at game), refs were from Princeton and have a track record of being terrible. blades given a 5 minute major for baording then Blades kid got hit from behind in front of ref and no call. no calls against Miracle Gold in final two periods. Blades were short majority of 3r...

Schedule for Orange at '02 Level

I guess Bernie must think his '02 Orange team needed some confidence as evidenced by their candy cane schedule at the stars and stripes tourney. What a laugher of a schedule. Oh well it should help for good posts on Monday from the machine heads about how great their '02 team is. They've been a litt...

2002 level
It appears the stress of 2 machine guys defecting to the Blades for the Brick and beyond might be affecting the mojo of the orange cult.

No he is not on current blades roster. We knew going in it would be tough but we were cautiously optimistic. They were straight up with me and I get it. Son will be bummed because what I've seen and read it is a great experience for young hockey players. But, as several have said, "it is just 1...

In reading past posts, some have suggested there is no interest from Machine camp to play on Brick squad. Unfortunately, I know the answer because I was just informed that my son did not make it. I asked why and was told that two, Machine kids have committed. Since I don't know who they are, it is ha...

old goalie85, Wisonsin is Wisconsin whether it be Hudson or Onalaska. The kids are from Wisconsin. Who cares. My other point was there weren't kids from FL, BOS, NYC as reported. More importantly, two Machine kids were offered a spot without having to tryout. They have until May 1st to decide. Blade...

Brick Tryout (Factual Data)

Was just reading the commentary on the post subject entitled, "Brick Tryouts." I attended both tryouts and have been told my son is bubble. Decisions will be made in late April. Here are a few other comments: I must say, Old goalie85 and youngatheart are sure good at posting a bunch of ina...
