I might be burned at the stake for even questioning this but after reading on this forum for a while I am just wondering why no program has ever tried starting a tier 1 team. I would think it wouldn't take much for a program such as the made or the new one in Eagan (northern educate?) to start one. ...

Well, I think teams are given respect on how they did last year until they can prove otherwise the new season. How can you say a team is not given respect if they haven't even played yet and all rankings are based on last years results. Now if Holy Angels plays 5games, wins them all yet doesn't move...

why is more kids being able to play high school hockey a bad thing? If they meet whatever requirements there are, let them play.

there is no AAAAA hockey, only AAAA hockey.. who's ever heard of AAAAA hockey.... j/k. I think too many people on here and over the top parents freaking out. Just let the kids play and if it's a disaster, this pilot will be 1 and done.

Teams usually have a spot or two during middle of the season, so the answer to your question is absolutely if you are going to help them win.

I don't see any mention to Made in the text. It was most likely written in because of them, but like the others say on here it is a resonable request. A team sport requires the participation of the whole team, not just those who don't have Made practice or game.
