One would like to think that some of the favoritism that has been mentioned is this thread doesn't happen. But sad to say it does. Political ties in the coaching ranks run deep. This is not to say that this is true to of all coaches. A few rotten apples can spoil the bunch. Maybe what should be look...

Virginia???
Hopefully they will replace Hendrickson in Virginia. How much longer is the School Board going to put up with his stunts and arrogance? His replacement is well overdue!!

Make sure to read previous threads before flying off the handle. My comments were not directed at this year’s bantam team. This year’s bantam year had a very good year and are to be commended of how far they advanced in the regions. The bantam team we have been talking about was not this year’s team...

Hello…McFly…what are you smoking? With VAHA drawing for both Virginia and MIB there should have been plenty of players to go around. Why was there a shortage of players? Why did players so many drop out? Did you ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe, the reason that there wasn’t a bantam team or...

It's obvious to me that you are either "The Lord of the Rinks" himself, his right hand man or a key member of VAHA. When are going to stop looking at the world through rose colored glasses? Many kids are leaving the Virginia program with a bad taste in their mouth. The reasons are obvious....

Re: Dons
Say Dons...I think puck4ever was just being sarcastic. Although a coach can not and should not be held accountable for their players actions away from the rink, they can make them aware the consequences of those actions.

Dons
I stated what he should have done. Keith has been coaching the Virginia program for 18 years. In that time he has run across just about every scenario possible in reference to player behavior. This was not the first time a player was caught drinking. Marwick was caught two years ago and the coaches ...

Hibbing/Virginia-MIB video
To bucksony -
The replay of last Saturday's playoff game is being shown this week on Mediacom Channel 5 in Virginia. If you know someone from The Queen City have them record it for you. Otherwise I think you can buy copies of the game for around $10 from Bob Coombe (broadcaster). The crew does a ...

When I say that they over-coached the team I mean that they were making lineup adjustments continually the last two or three weeks of the season. Everything was going smoothly until the Eveleth/Gilbert game. So they lost one game in a dozen, no need to turn the cart over. It happens. Sooner or later...

I'm a little surprised by your response. Just because a coach's son or daughter is approaching the high school level is no reason to keep a coach on. Above everything is the coach's responsibility in the development of the kids as individuals with a strong foundation of moral values and self worth. ...

Pack His Bags!!
With his record in futility one would think he would have gotten tossed long ago. He came very close to getting booted 6 or 7 years ago. It's hard to believe that a coach like Randolph could get the hook and this guy escapes like Houdini year after year. People around town can't stand his arrogance ...

Hibbing was the one that came out flying. They took it to Virginia for the first 4-5 minutes. Hendrickson tried to match the Walters line with a makeshift third line for the first two periods and also tried to be physical with them before they hit the offensive zone. It was a mismatch and the Walter...

You have a great point. Once again Hendrickson is up to his mind games. This problem started a long time ago when these coaches stated that this was "the team" that was finally going to make it to state. They put so much pressure on themselves that they are starting to panic. Bringing thos...
