Let's not forget they may be favorites to win the section every year, but that doesn't mean squat. They lost to Eagan last year, and CDH is a strong team this year. STA vs CDH tonight at STA. STA is looking to get back on track after giving up games to BSM and HM. CDH has been rolling as of late climbing the rankings. Looking to get some elite takes, as I have not seen CDH play, and I only saw STA play for Hockey Day MN, and consider that game a wash.

Why does this even matter? It is a tournament for a reason, the best team in state wins the championship. 3rd place and consolation are just pride games anyways. Rivalry or not this is a section final game between two great teams. We all love rivalries so we can see the hardest fought, highest intensity game for bragging rights to follow.
