EPDad - just surprised since for me it that would have had best effect on HS hockey (their baby), since Duluth & Blades would have their team play for 3 weeks end of year and then try to get to nationals. Opening Cheater up means that anyone really could create their own as long as its a private...

That's...surprising. I'd figure their decision would have been opposite. This means Cheater will play Shattuck to go to Nationals, so that's interesting. Here is article for lazy people: Ability Academic, Formerly Achiever Academy gets Approval for Next Year The Decision is In At the April Minnesota...

His rights are also owned by Des Moines in the USHL, who needs 1 possibly 2 goalies next season. If he has a good weekend next week I can see him on the 30 man preliminary roster.

Re: USA Hockey Article

Point is I think there are probably 200 unique match-ups, if not more, where you'll see scouts in MNHS. (Duluth East for instance against 15 teams counts as 15 match-ups). There is maybe 10 match-ups total in Wisconsin, which is basically the two best teams against random teams who also have a high-...

I believe that teams should have the opportunity to move 1 player up or down per month. It would allow teams that are riddled with injuries, or clearly have someone not playing in the right division the chance to move and not spend the entire year on the wrong team. What would the benefit be for a 1...

The parent is fine to sit on the board - I don't see the problem. I dealt with a similar situation this year. I coached peewees and one of my players was from a different association. His mom is the president of the association. They have a squirt who stays within their organization, however for the...

04-05...that would of been Bartholdi (spelling???) , who (i believe) has 2 daughters...no boys. huh, either way... fact of the matter is girls hockey is 2nd stage to boys; and to be honest that won't change. Just going off what I was told, again, I've never even been to Cloquet so I couldn't tell y...

Ha no worries, I won't get in trouble. I think its interesting! I'm not from the area so I just wanted to throw out the side she's told me. I definitely understand where the hostility comes from. For my opinion on the lawsuit - Were the girls paying for a host previously and were the boys getting th...

Yeah but since they don't go there or can't afford to do it they have to come to the internet to complain.

Why does everyone think the girls want to go to Ridder? The Cloquet girls didn't and the girls out there now don't, either. The biggest problem with attendance is the fact that boys sectionals are the same weekend. The cost matters, but slightly. If you want the girls state tournament to get headway...

Mite-day, There are also some awful A privates. Not many, but some. How about once an A private school makes the tourney 3 times in a row or 4 times in 5 years, or 7 in 10, they have to opt up? They cannot go back to A unless they finish in last place in their section 3 years in a row. Same can go f...
