Bunch of Thugs
Friend just called from Warroad and 7 of Warroad's section roster players are on the A honor roll. Nothing worst than a bunch of smart THUGS. I think this also says something for Eades's high standards on and off the ice.

Selvog Plans
I had a chance to visit with Tony at sections and it sounld like 4 or 5 D-1 schools have expressed a interest in him. He plans to play JR hockey at this time. He is certainly a fine young man to visit with. He should do just fine. Oh, by the way he also told me that is on the B honor roll. Some were...

BIAFP....You should take some of your own advise. I was at the Warroad/I Falls game [ was staying with I Falls friends] and Selvog was baited on the face off. The refs were on him from the get go.
You Falls people need to get off the Thugs thing. Warroad plays physical hockey, which is part of t...

RideNPine...I checked all this out for puckstopper a while back when they played over here. You must have a huge problem with Warroad or Marvin Windows. All player were homegrown, but #19.

Take the sliver out of your ass. You will feel better.

Shapshooter...Wasn't Warroad down 2 or 3 goals when Boucha took the cheap shot and came back and tied the game w/o Boucha? We could all meet at Frank's and get the real story.

shots on goal
gold313 and videoscout have said it all. The person running the clock puts the shots on goal on the clock and has the worst seat in the house to do this. It is a matter of opionon who is getting screw. The goalie or the defenseman on shots on goal. The prefect world would haver someone high above ea...

ramvet Roseau has a very nice rink, but could you people spend a little on the sound system? This be a huge improvement.

worst rink
RLF has to be right up there. The ceiling is about 14ft from the ice surface. No seating to speak of. It looked like the visitors had to walk through the lobby to go to the bathrooms, and I can only wonder if they had showers. I thing I did like was the 3 bucks to get in.

You are right, warroad has a terrible arena. can't see a thing, markless pucks, individual seats with backs, no parking, and the small lobby. but what I really hate about the gardens is the bad hot chocolate. Hibbing has a beautiful arena. Too bad they were forced to reduce the size of the ice sheet....

THANKS bdabbt75... But I hope you don't think all northern hockey fans are as clueless as the two you just enlighten. Some Northern hockey teams won't play teams that play physical hockey, they prefer to play the skilled, only hockey, so I am not sure what the statement about northern hockey being p...

metro vs northern
A bit of good work on your part.. Most town up NORTH I Falls, LOW, Warroad, Roseau, Bemidji, TRF, and EGF to name a few have 2 or 3 indoor rinks and lots of ice time, which i think gives them their biggest advantage vs the city teams. Also we are starting to see some nice weight rooms. I also feel w...

who is best
Jr. the metro is the has strongest schools year in and year out and with the private A schools being in the cities it make it tough to win at the A level for the smaller A schools, However, I think I Falls and Warroad will have something to say about the A champ this year.
