Winny. How about someone named Johnson and Gunderson? It's not one person.... This attitude is sad and pathetic ! Soooo many complain about politics and I have heard it way too much!! USA hockey and D1 schools want good players! They want to win!! People get fired when they don't! WAKE UP!!! They w...

who/how should we chat up/suck up to/befriend/lobby/pay off? (Last one was kidding, mostly.) Does who your dad is really matter THIS MUCH? Winny. How about a few named (originallyt named but omitted)........? It's not one person.... Clearly some have influence. It's a pool of folks lobbying. *yes I...

Befriend the right person, your kid could go despite not being worthy. Regarding goalies, it's a far cry from a real tryout IMO. Remington not ...

More my point was, the governing body which is trying to grow the sport is also alienating many via the selectiveness. To elaborate further, the corruption, politics, posturing of the selection process is mind boggling. I used to say even when they got list down to the national campers, they usually...

Referring to an earlier posters reference to HP 14. Minnesota Hockey (or is it USA Hockey) is making a huge mistake in trying label or pidgeon hole kids at such a young age. There are #'s issues already in girls hockey and the growth of hockey in general. Affordability, time, etc ..... it's all been...

I wasn't coming at you u12. Sorry if it read that way. I was only there for the final. There were 2 schools (at least not incognito.) As others have pointed out, maybe that game didn't matter to some. My issue is the insincerity in how they promote this HP animal - especially to newbies and younger...

It’s sad (or comical), it’s great competition but many of the girls learn very early that valuable lesson we all say that sports is supposed to teach, “life isn’t fair”. And watching this event it is clear when in reality it could be (or much closer). Regretfully for those who advance, it doesn’t ma...
