Re: Girls vs. Boys

The Womens team is small. One of their strongest players, Krissy Wendell, is about 5'7" and 150 lbs. She would be one of the smallest players on most top high school teams. Natalie Darwitz is about 130lbs. Team USA better be awfully fast.

And I too am curious who you claim transferred to WBL.

Everyone else on that team played Bantams for WBL, and MAHA doesn't allow open enrollment.

Re: good game

I did hear something about this. Yeah, a couple of foolish kids making a bad choice. Probably doesn't need to be discussed at this venue.

give it up

You're right Kazmo, the only game I referenced in my 'answers to dreamer' post was a 2-0 scored game played at the 'X'. No one was turned away from that game, And it is over, as you so emphatically state. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/...

Answers to dreamers questions

Dreamer, to answer your questions if you mean "ARE there only 4-5 teams that can beat Moorhead this year I'd say yeah, no more than the top 4 or 5. You'd be surprised how much influence the fans have if they can't watch their kid. As I said before, in public schools at least, the trip gets paid...

Courteous Moorhead

Centennial seating

CSG, What I was trying to say is that Centennial reserves seats for parents of all visiting teams and they sometimes sell out well before the game. When my son played there last year, some of us parents were unaware of this policy and when I went to pick up tickets on early Friday afternoon, they we...

Moorhead courtesy

CSG,

Really? I went to buy tickets for a 'big game' last year and they were sold out the day before. We didn't know parents of visiting players could walk up just before the game, so I got to see them anyway. Or are you saying last year's Centennial/Moorhead wasn't a big game.<!--EZCODE EMOTI...

Moorhead seating

Sorry, I'm not from Centennial., But I do have family in the Moorhead Youth A program.... But you have it right: Top teams want to play good talent. Moorhead has the longest drive of anyone to find that talent. I am sure most Moorhead fans understand that, but apparently certain ones are cartographi...

Seating for visiting parents

What is being forgotten is that the hockey booster clubs pay for the teams to travel. And it is the parents who are the ones who fund the booster clubs. If Centennial forgoes the Moorhead trip and schedules Jefferson, AHA, or EP next year because it of costs and because they can't watch their kid pl...
