The top schools JV team will smoke the best Junior Gold teams in the state. But I am not saying that all Junior Varsity teams can beat Junior G...

Jr Gold is basically for the kids that get cut from high school hockey or do not want the commitment of high school hockey. I would probably rate level of play right under Junior Varsity in quality. I think some teams in the cities use it as a feeder program for high school also. I am not sure tho.....
