Re: Duelin Banjos

I agree, this one is BIG! We are getting to that time of the season when the tweaking begins, and winning becomes more important and crucial. I think east may have a coaching advantage, but you cant coach heart. I think that East is lacking in that area, and have to go with a close one Brainerd 3 Ea...

Re: jake johnson

Jake is definately a top end player, and not under rated. I think that Kyle Olson from Cloquet is a pretty solid offensive defensemen that may end up being a top end player.

Re: Now What?

Point well taken, but on the flip side of "freedom of speech" an earlier post said that a certain player is a force to be reckoned with... He obviously has his opinion about the player, just because he has a positive opinion doesn't make it a crime to disagree. Ultimately, they are only op...

Re: East

Queen Bee,
I think that these boys are at the stage of life that the warm and fuzzy feel good philosophy needs to go. Players that cannot handle reality are being set up to fail, Of course these kids are working hard in practice. The point is, is that these kids are capable of playing much bette...

Re: Score

I think that GR has a chance in this one, they must play their best game. Lee in goal is rock solid, and as far as "Levine better be ready to take some hits" he is about as solid and tough a kid as their is. He can disappear at times, but if you forget about him, he will make you pay. Noth...

Re: East

perhaps you need to look at how many times the D coughs up the puck in their own zone. every one of their D can be walked quite easily, and I have never seen so many D fall down while skating backwards. A force? You better see the whole game. Downing is the best of a poor group. The upside is, that ...

Re: #17

I have to agree, flaherty looked quite good. he is very consistent, and plays basic fundamental hockey. I heard that he has drawn interest from the NDTP. I cant confirm it as truth, but it wouldn't suprise me. Turnbull over handled the puck no doubt. I did notice that he is virtually alone when his ...

letting up

easy man! Obviously you are blind. look at the aha current games played... nobodys! East is a young squad and has alot of work to do. the point was simply that AHA should have beaten East by quite a margin and didnt. now either East gave them all they wanted and it just proves that AHA is not that g...

DE

Are you kidding, Renier is a complete non factor. he is small, timid, and weak, he would be a nice jv player. Arbour will be quite solid eventually, but Flaherty, Johnson, Turnbull, and Leis are the heart and soul of the hounds. If the hounds want to compete, some of these young talents need to real...

east vs AHA

Watching this game it was obvious, that Randolph has his team here for development. He started a all soph line that has 2 quality players and one player that wouldn't be a factor at the jv level! basically he fed them to the wolves, as they got lit up by AHA's top line on the first shift. To say tha...

Re: Hounds Vs Spuds

I took in the game, and also watched it on the delay. pretty scary moment for krause and all hockey fans. the slow replay really looked bad. clean hit on the part of the east player. glad to here krause will be ok. I think that east has the "potential" to be solid down the stretch. alot of...
