Re: Loss to Eagan
TC. Should be a good game with EP at Mariucci. My boys from Bloomington should also make the playoffs. How many of Wessys boys are a result of being cut either by HM or AHA varsity. I heard a handful. True or false?

TCWessy. May the ghosts of John Mariucci rise up and snuff out all those phantom breakaways at the game with EP on the 23rd!

Re: Best JGA players currently
When our team, Bloomington, played EP, our coaches focused on two wingers from EP's team that stood out with good moves and speed. #19 & #9. Both seniors with a good scoring touch around the slot. Our scouts also mentioned a couple of defenders we need to get by. #13 is very competent, tall, goo...

Re: Wessys are on a 6-0 run
Wessey. Nice run, but, when you meet our boys from Bloomington the lights will have to go out. We won't let you run the table without a fight!

Have you guys played the EP team? Where, when and what happened? The UofM game should be fun and what a sheet of ice to play on.

Keep that Reynolds Aluminum wrap at home boys! EPCoach is right. The good teams are winning with skill not knuckles. Good luck.

Re: Any big games coming up
Eagleshockey9. I understand an old Bloomington skating buddy of mine, Gordie Roberts, treated your team to a practice session the other night. Hopefully you learned a thing or two! Hats off to Gordie for helping out with Clarke and Cass. He was probably eyeing the three senior players cut by EP last...

Re: Any EP Tourney Updates?
A very good Green Bay team defeated Minnetonka 6-0 for the championship. GB sailed through all the games. Sioux Falls game them a run, losing 2-0. We won't see them until next year. Too bad. They raise the "bar" for Minnesota teams.

Re: Any EP Tourney Updates?
Bobcat fan. Although I was not at the tourney at all I did hear your Green Bay team won it all and played good. Can you elaborate what happened after your win? Did the Minnetonka skaters skate off when they should have shaken hands etc.? Our skaters from Bloomington</...

Re: Scores
JGold. The score should have been 2-0 in favor of Bloomington. Our skaters appeared tired towards the end. Edina hustled well. Anyway, we are on top of the league at present with a rematch with Eden Prairie coming up soon followed by Eagan. My boys at Bloomington are gelling and will get better in F...

Re: Good Kids
ejgagoalie. #8 would be Brendan Finke. Correct? I thought two AHA players suited up for the Jr. Gold A squad at Eagan. 6 goals in one game is impressive. And, Eagan is now rated #1 on the Metro web page...

Re: Eagan vs. Blaine
COACH. Nice reply and I appreciate your candor. You have an excellent team given the fact that last years team was composed of seniors except two juniors. Also, last year, a number of players had played at the EP varsity/jv level. So that is always a plus. Your current team, half of which is compose...

Re: Eagan vs. Blaine
EP Coach. Which team are your referring too about jumping over who? Centennial? I thought the score was 2-0 in favor of EP? I did not attend the game but heard that the EP team is still trying to figure out the lines in view of all their injuries they sustained after the the Maple Grove boys came ou...

math. fast eddie is correct. the jv skaters are, by all measure, varsity feeders. statistically their season is a moot point for everyone except their coaching staff.

Re: Best
scrutinize the metro hockey standings (goals for and against)and its plain to see that the ep team is very strong on defense. its clearly reflective of the two senior netminders as well! look at eagan and the goals scored. ep, if i recall, stopped them earlier by a score of 2-1. holding a team like ...
