smart....

hey toold2think, how can u say that noone would be interested in an all Private schools tournament? Besides Warroad, thats what the class A tournament is and u could add teams such as AHA Hill and Benilde (going up to AA this year) and probably a few others. Teams such as AHA, Hill, Benilde, Breck, ...

wow

first of all, sta is on the upswing... noone can deny that. hill is unknown, my guess is they are better next year but noone knows for sure. and by the way, the 8th grader ur talking about finished the year with like 43 points, which puts him right up their with most of the big boys from hill, AND T...

Hill /STA

STA is single A and the should be, they are half the size of Hill and not a "powerhouse" like hill is know for. (that will change in the next couple of years.) Im pretty sure st. thomas beat tartan and hill got swept... if your trying to diss single A schools then why is it thatteams like ...

8th grader

I've seen the 8th grader from STA play and if it wasn't for his small stature you wouldnt know hes in 8th grade. He could skate circles around most of the upper classmen at Hill or any other school. The kid had 30 pts, im sure he'd bee a stand out player any where including hill. and P.S. STA got to...

back to topic

k this isnt a rip lechner topic, its if arrigoni is gonna stay at hill.. i have heard from a few hill players (two to be exact) so it may be quite biased but that they were almost thrilled when they heard that arrigoni might be leaving hill. this kid is a damn good player so y would 2 teammates of h...

ok

im just wondering because a friend of mine at hill said he heard him telling people he was gonna try to go to sta next year. i know that he wouldnt be captain at sta next year obviously so im guessing he is just settling down after probably a pretty rough reaction. any reasons y he didnt get captain...

Arrigoni to STA?

heard a rumor today that brian arrigoni from hill was not happy about not being selected as one of the 3 captains and was telling people he wanted to go play at STA next year. Any truth to that?

on the 8th grader

Jordan Schroeder was extremely nauseas and sick during the game today. he played about the first half of the game and wasnt himself at all on the ice today and sat the second half of the game. he threw up the whole night before the 3rd place game today so thats why he didnt put on a show like the vi...

wow

u virginia kids are amazing. just cause this is your first time in the state tourney doesnt mean there is nobody there for competition to stop you. u would think that virginia played someone decent this year by the way you talk. Hibbing is the best team u played all year! Sta has played teams like H...

agreed

I think that Voss is the most under-rated goalie in the state. Not that people dont hear about the kid, but with all the talk about Richards and Kangas and Faust, I would put Voss in the same class as those kids. Voss will lead the Cadets into the state tournament for the 2nd time in school history ...

question

I think in the paper or else somewhere on minnhock it was said that Virginia plays 4 lines. When that is said does that mean taht their 4th line plays a shift or 2 in the game and the 3rd line plays a lil bit or r we going to regularly see either of these lines on wednesday?

well.....

The game against Greenway should be wiped from the books..... STA didnt have any legs for one, they got off the bus and played the game, but im not gonna go there. the reason it shouldnt count is because Greenway's refs were the worst of any game this year, making terrible call after terrible call i...

Cam Voss

Like lil brodeur said, Voss played under STA's current coach Tom Vannelli at CDH for 2 years and developed a solid relationship with him. He enjoyed playing under Vannelli and when the time came that Vannelli was to change schools, Voss was eager to follow his coach and will now benefit from his dec...

AV

I was at the Apple Valley game today and want to say that defensively, the Eagles are a superior team to Holy Angels. Yet obviously, the Stars have more firepower and as far as im concerned a better goalie. Too many stars on AHA for Apple Valley to handle, but I hope AV pulls out the win somehow! <p...
