Morgan is in no way the reason why the Irish lost this game. I think the recap by Postnin paints a clear picture of his performance last night. And as for letting in two early goals I remember four black jerseys in front of the net on the first goal with none of the Irish (excepting morgan) anywhere...

You'll get no argument from me. But my guess is many of the goalies contending for this award had the option to leave and chose to stay. I would offer that the oppertunity to play in the Upper Midwest Elite League has done what it was intended to do and kept many of its participants around for thier...

Both goalies played well in this game. Morgan got left hanging by his D a few times in the first and gave up one on a 5 on 3. Yumo got sniped by brown while the Irish were killing the same 5 on 3. Morgan had 30 saves Yumo 38. Both fine goaltenders no doubt about it but this game shouldn't decide any...

I always get a kick out of how misinforming the Star Trib is when listing goalie stats. Hakan and Morgan are both have over 900 minutes and are not listed due to gaa. Hakan at 2.94 and morgan at 2.70 Both these guys have just above a 90 Save % which means they are seeing 29.4 (Hakan) and 27 (Morgan)...

I will agree that there is talent in Roseau this season. I had the pleasure of watching Ness during the elite league. I don't think I've see a player with as much ability. He did a fantastic job quarterbacking his teams power plays. They may very well prove themselves the best come March. No doubt a...

2nd string I admire your passion for your team. But Rosemount did make the trip to Ram Country last season. The Rams were supposed to reciprocate but backed out and instead played Farmington (10min south of Irish Country) when the made thier swing through the metro. I'm not saying the Rams themselve...

I like Jefferson in this one. I love to watch this team on the penalty kill. This is the most aggressive short handed team I've seen this season. They pressure the point well and have good speed. EP may have the defense to counter but can't match the Jags offense. I like both tenders but Stypula wil...

If this is an award for goalies on strong dominate teams then of course Cashetta wins but if this award is for the accomplishments of an individual goal tender, continued skill development (CANI) and relevance to team success then my vote is for Morgan. Morgan is a transplant from Mississippi who ca...

Goalie Contrast
To truly compare two goaltenders they have to play under identical circumstances. Of the goalies mentioned only two have this distinction. Morgan And Yumu. They were teammates twice throughout their HS careers. (Selects & Elites) They also both play in the lake conference so they see similar com...

Goalies
Hockeyguy1515 your right not top 10 or 20. Probably more like top 5. You will argue this but it won't make it any less true. Remember Morgan was a final 51 tender and was called upon to represent MN at the National Selects 17 in 06 it was a tough field with names like Patterson and Ellingson in the ...

He tried out for 5A/5AA but Mike Webb (AHA) and Mike Morgan (Rosemount) were selected. Can a player tryout for more then one elite section team. If so he my be playing with another section. I know Donohue and Yugosaklar( Spelling?) are the goalies for 1A/1AA but I don't know who is on the other Rost...
