Richfield and Washburn will NOT BE NEXT. I respectfully accept this as your personal opinion, but I am on the board for Richfield and after hearing about you and the johnson people blabber last year, I had to see if there was any credit to this board. Guess not, we are just fine with money, just fin...

My sons team is supposed to play the Irondale team, but there isn't an Edison team this year.

And Richfield will NOT be the last team in the leauge.

Maybe Johnson, and Como doesn't have an A team AGAIN, so give them the trophy.

I like that idea Elliot, I wish I could approach the board with an idea that. I don't think things are going to happen in our case. Our kids current association president just keeps saying, I can't wait to be out of here. He has said that he will be gone as of next year. I wish he would stay, becaus...

I like the rink in Roseau, like tuna said, its old school.

Pogreba takes care of his peewee teams and stays out of the bantam light. I'm sure being the president of the association and coaching a team is more than enough work.

I heard no one stepped up to take the bantam job at johnson, thats why they gave it to someone who isn't from that area.

Not trying to point out the obvious, but a few posts back, the writer said he wished the coaches would write some things down on paper, so there was justification to the picks.

I agree, if you not good enough, you don't get picked, but you have to have asked yourself at one point, WHY?

Don't worry sw coach / prez, tuna has multi personal problems too. Thank you for answering my questions about the D1/D3 issue. I've heard that there are problems with the D1 and I was wondering if you'd be more apt to stick it out or go over there. I think you guys do a good job coaching the kids, I...

I asking whether you are just waiting for one district to fold and then jump to the other one?

Its nice to have options. But if all the teams play two schedules, then who comes first, D1 or D3?

At least the east side will always have Tyrell. I talked with Moose yesterday and he said Tyrell is the key to the future.

sw prez,
One question, if you don't perform well in one district, yet do very well in the other, when do you jump ship and leave D1 for D3? It sounds very nice that you will be around for a long while, but if you can get to state in the other district, I'd take the chance at state.

I'm going to tell my kids coach about this. I like the idea of playing other districts. It looks like the TC district is going down the tubes, we need to get into some better play.

starting out

The season isn't all that long. My son hasn't even finished tryouts yet, they just started the other day. Its my understanding that White Bear Lake was done weeks ago. How do you keep numbers up? It might just be a way of life. Duffus is from Roseau, they don't have great numbers, but they always sh...

Charliedog must have rubbed off on the kid

Charliedog,
I'm assuming your kid didn't get picked for the A team, which is why you are so mad. If your kid wasn't good enough, deal with it. Why should someone have to look twice if they got it right the first time.

Would blueblood like to tell everyone where you think more deserving children are?

Top-level Peewee A teams

I'll wait to see how some of the teams start out before picking a rank.

If Johnson is at the bottom like you say, they really must have fallen off after making to the Regional Tournament last year. What happened???

Wear them and like it

The same coaches that complain about wearing a helmet must be the same people that complain about wearing seatbelts. Make sure you turn off all the airbags in the car too.
