I don't think many top players from big programs are going to leave A to play B1. If they do then there will be someone to take their place. The more kids that leave for private schools means more opportunity for my kids.

The smart guy says Bloomington has two associations. Some kids who live in Eagan might play for Eastview. As for the number, I don't think 60 kids will support two quality A teams let alone one. I heard that Wayzata had 80 kids just for their A pool.

buddah is mostly right. I think there is more than just Nanne in Edina this year, but not enough more to make a difference. Edina has a very good group of first years and 3-6 will probably end up on the A team. Are they impact players that will carry the team, not in my opinion. They are good players, but they won't be the best on the team, and for the most part the crafty first years are very small. At the peewee level ...
