Re: For arguments sake

I think we all agree Warroad is as good as any AA team in the state based on their record. What will always remain a question is could they win the AA title.

I believe we can all agree it is more difficult to win 3 in a row at the AA than it is in the A. Warroad has never done it and either...

Re: Best

Take it from me(if you wish), the best is going to the state with your friends from your neighborhood. When ever you get together the stories are as vivid as ever. In college you very seldom get together with the core group. In high school it lasts forever.

Stay in school, play with your fri...

Re: warroad vs class AA

Everyone knows Warroad is a class AA team playing in the Class A tournanment. They talk about cost of playing, but I know they traveled as much as any AA team in the north and probably spent more this year than in past years.

Re: Hardwick?

Didn't mean to imply anything except a reason for him not being offered a scholarship. If you say his folks are good, then there must be no reason I can see for him not being offered a scholarship immediately!!!

Would love to see him in the WCHA in a couple of years.

Hardwick?

He is very qualified to play at the next level. He has been solid throughout his high school career. It is strange no one has picked him up for a scholarship.

I know in the past teams have shied away from a talented player due to extra luggage as in a lousy parent. Could this be the case? Re: best team

Noon on a Saturday of the State hockey tournament and who could be there? Yikes! There used to be approx. 10,000 attending the Consolation Championship on a Saturday afternoon when we had one division.

A goal?

Yep! It went in the net! Yep! It was under the crossbar! Yep the Ref waved it off! NO GOAL!!

How many goal/no goals have decided state tournament games?? I would guess more than this one, and it, arguably, did not effect the outcome as many other goal/not goals have in the past. No need to ...

Re: best team

Once again the public showed what they are interested in. 6,000 attending the Class A Title game which some are classifying as one of eh best ever. Crimeny! ND State Championship is equal to that type of game!

Re: Programs that lose players.

Does anyone remember when a community would look forward to the next few years based on their youth program doing well. It was really exciting for the whole area. Now it does not mean a thing with player movement all over the place. Even if a community can keep their group together, you never know w...

Re: Moorhead- -Roseau Round 2

The NCC would not let section 8AA out of the contract for the final game. Spuds and the Rams were in agreement to move the finals to the Ralph in TRF. Quite possible the move will be made for the next two years and then evaluated from that point on.
