Huh. I find this the least interesting quarterfinal that I can recall

It could certainly end up that way. I’m just hoping for 4 good games on Thursday. Could end up with 4 not close games.

I think Gentry beat Dodge County in the championship in 2021. Not sure though.

Would be something to watch if Proctor continues to up their game and we get to see Proctor, CEC, Hibbing and Hermantown slug it out over the next 2 years. Agree. As good as the Hawks are, and they are good, they still have plenty of competition in 7A. Not long ago that seemed almost impossible.

Agree. CEC didn’t get here the easy way. They are trying to slay the dragons themselves. They just might do it.

Agree it will be tight until the end but so far it’s the polar opposite of the Hermantown- CEC game. That one was fast paced up and down the whole game. This one feels like trudging through fresh concrete.

I’m going Rapids. I really like how they’ve looked the last 6 weeks. Early on this year they were pretty inconsistent finding the back of the net. They have shown they can score as the season wound down. They also played 4 goaltenders a lot this year. All of them were solid when they got the chance....

I was looking forward to a Hibbing/ Hermantown game.

Now, after watching how Cloquet played the Hawks, I’m really excited to see this game.

If the Jacks can duplicate that intensity for the whole game, the Bluejackets will have their hands full. 2 very good teams.
