FSN Games
I think that it'd be sweet if they televised section finals. Get the really roudy fans in rinks that there is standing room only.

Roseau
I remember playing my first tourney up in roseau as a pee wee and the goosebumps you get when you walk into that arena. You're intimidated instantly because of all the state championships hanging around, and the pics of guys like the braatens, and butsy.

2 yrs ago, when fergus went up to ros...

slashing penalty
We must not have been looking at the same penalty. The one that I saw was Cody Koski, #19, reaching in to poke at a rebound and the goalie trying to cover the puck at the same time. What I saw was a 1-handed poke at the goalie, hardly nasty or two-handed. But, maybe I was looking at the wrong thing....

Re: Small Falls & Wadsville
As I said b4 the game, if FF stays out of the box they win. Well, they didn't...so they lost. But I'm still disappointed on how the game was decided. A horse $#!t slashing call w/ about 4 min. left. The refs called the game pretty even, but I feel that they took the game out of the kids hands.
<b...

wide open section
I think what he meant by saying the section is more wide open then ever is that anyone could win it. Like it's been said before several times. LF has the best record so they are the favorite...whoopdedoo...If my memory serves me so were the St.Louis Rams a few years back. Right now in this section, ...

FF vs TRF
This game has the making of the beginning of a rivalry. W/ Berglund leaving FF to be an assistant at TRF you know Fergus will be up for it. Donohue should be desperate for a win in this game, cuz if he doesn't people will be saying how FF would've been better off if Berglund stayed. I think it'll be...

Re: re: section 4
I agree w/ pretty much everything there, but of course I have to put my 2 cents in. Mic's hit was hardly a choke slam. he got him on the shoulder and turned him into the boards. Terrible call, but I was impressed w/ Mic's reaction. He was pissed, and most guys would've started in on the ref. He got ...

Don't mean to nitpick at things but Joe Kalar, not Sam Kalar got pulled. They're twins, Joe's the goalie and Sam's the Defenseman.

All in all I didn't think Joe played too terriblly (sp?). FF vs.Roseau
Roseau wins 6-5 in OT. Fergus once again not closing teams out. were winning 3-0 at one point and i think 5-3 at another point. Roseau only lost to warroad 3-1 so i s'pose it should be seen as a good thing to only lose to them in OT. Vennerstrom played and I question the call to do that as Kalar pla...

Postel
Postel's a nice player, but saying he walked all over the otters is a bit of a stretch. He took it end to end twice, both on powerplays, and scored on one of them. That's about it. Pettit didn't do very much either. That Henry kid though, is a big one. Looks about as solid as they come. Didn't look ...

Murray hit
I still don't think it was a dirty shot. He got him in the chest, he stumbled a few steps backwards, and hit the back of his head on the ridge around the boards. Re: wadena
Exciting game to watch. WDC player was taken off on a stretcher, clean hit but was pretty scary. Reffing was consistent...consistently bad both ways. Both teams should've had penalty shots. Clockwork was shoddy. The guy was struggling w/ it all night. In the end Fergus was killed by their inability ...

Re: to peter jiggs
Sorry buddy, but Jim Pender, allthough very physical, isn't the
most physical defenseman in the area, I've seen him play 3 or 4 times this year and he's not as physical as Mic Johnson #18 of Fergus Falls. You should see the hits this guy has been dishing out. Overall Fergus has the most physical ...
