Big win for Delano over Orono, but doesn't put them over any of the other top five based on the results of the rest of their games. Even if they split with HF and Mound, they still won't move ahead of them because of their loss to Hutch and close games with LeSeur and St. Michael.

I would agree. The big ? is where does Fairibault fit in. They don't play a lot of the section teams. If it were TODAY I would go with......, but a lot can change with many section games remaining. Orono New Prague Fairibault Holy Family Mound Delano Shakopee Litchfield Hutchinson Providence St. Mic...

There wasn't a goal "waived off". Mound had a shot hit two posts with about 30 seconds left in the game on a flurry in front of the net. The puck never went in.

BlueGoose, I am not sure how I can make myself any more clear. SCC won the game as we all know, the only difference being that they buried their chances and HF did not. I clearly stated that good teams take advantage of mistakes and SCC did that. However, you are completely wrong to say that SCC dom...

Actually, St. Cloud did not dominate the game as many have mentioned. Both teams struggled in their own end. When HF was on offense, St.Cloud struggled, when St. Cloud was in the offensive in HF struggled. HF outshot SCC 34-24. SCC capitalized on HF mistakes, HF did not capitlize on theirs. That is ...

I am not sure on the number, but I believe it was #7 for HF that came in on a breakaway on a long pass and hit the goalie in the shoulder or helmet and the puck went out of play. Another player, again, sorry about not remembering numbers came in and lost the puck on his move when he got slashed from...

Anyone who was at the game knows how close of a game it was. Both teams had several opportunities to score, Lourdes did a better job of finishing. HF missed several breakaways and couldn't capitalize on their chances. Shots were in the mid thirties for both teams. Not even close to a blowout by Lour...
