Nor was it Irondale's night. I agree the ref's were off tonight, for both teams. Irondale is a stronger team than they showed tonight as well. But it is enjoyable to watch them defend themselves when the opposite team is cheap. Physical good game for both teams, although I have seen much better out ...

yes, after the second goal was cleared as no goal about 5 minutes went by and then they called it a goal. the goal was scored by going off of a skate, which should be ruled a non-goal. both refs were in the center of the rink and could not have seen it clearly, this game should have been a 1-2 irond...

With Irondale's record being so much better than any of their other seasons and in watching some of their games, I would have to think that the two junior captains; Rachel Gates-Vickery (defense) and Nicole Olson (Forward) should be considered. Both these players have played varsity since 8th grade ...

My daughter started playing at HS on varsity as a 8th grader only because she was too old for the 12U and there was no 14U or 16U available.
