Let's play hockey posted the all state academics (seniors with 3.8 or higher grades) in the Feb. 22 issue (or right around there). The March 1st issue has the All State and all state honorable mention along with Ms. Hockey and Ms. Goalie articles.

You really need to let the whole North Metro thing go. It really should be about the kids - unless something has changed the kids and parents have nothing to do with co-oping teams together - it's atheletic directors and MSHL that decide. There are alot of girls out there that didn't make the all metro team but are deserving as well. Remember there are only so many spots available and we all have our own opinions and favorites. Congrats to all the girls that made the list!

Caught the game on Friday night Totino Grace against Irondale. Alot of young talent. Really liked Laurel Miller, Totino Grace and Gina McDonald, Irondale. I think they are both 91's. Both look like they will be following in their sisters footsteps.
