When I was watching the Premier, I would say that DJ Jones was the most solid defenseman of the weekend.
BEn Marshall started off playing D but then moved up to forward where he looked great. Extremely quick.

Hey Dump, There isn't just ice that needs to be payed for, which by the way does cost more in Michigan than here. There is insurance, e.m.t.s, jerseys, and oh yeah maybe some compensation for the large number of hours it takes to organize. If you don't think it's fair, then you should do it for noth...

Re: Pamesh once again
Everyone,

I have done some reaserch of my own. I called one of Bernie's 96 Machine Parents to see what they paid this summer. He told me that they paid $1475 for the season (March- August).
That was 120 hours of practice and 5 tournaments. That is a total of about 150 hour on ice. $10 bucks...

Re: Pamesh once again
Pamesh, I just came accross another doozy of a post from you as I read thru the rest of this thread. It is seriously time to stop talking on a subject you know very little about. It is ignorance like yours that can cause so many problems. "I heard a story..", that's always when you want to...

Re: To Pamesh and Zoolander
How utterly ironic it is that you make the comments you made about player turnover with Bernie in a Blades thread. If you were to talk to him, the reason he left the Blades is because the Blades wanted him to just cut kids mid-season and he was not willing to do that. But if you want to eat up every...

Re: big willie style
What is your deal with all this future Mr Hockey possibilities. Why would you even bring up his Bantam brother at this point for Mr Hockey 08/09. You immediately loose any chance of credebility when you start that. Let's let them both do there thing and in due time see what happens. Now if you wante...

Re: will mclean
Talking about '06-'07 Mr. Hockey is a ways away. Will is not a bad player and has gotten alot better over the past couple years, but still has a ways to go for Mr. Hockey. He is a great kid, so I personally hope he puts in the work over the next year to be in the running.

Re: Hummel
You have to be kidding. He is so overrated. All he is, is big. So what! He dumps the puck as much as anyone. If he could handle the puck, he might be decent. And what is the deal with Hummel having to be the last guy of the ice with his little getting off the ice show.

Edited by: <A HREF=h...

That would be a great pick except that Taylor Mattson is only a Sophmore.

Re: Best hands in the state
i know people will say he shouldn't counted because he isn't MSHSL, but Kyle Okposo would hold on to the puck in a crowd longer than anyone out there

'88 team with Okposo
first, i beleive it was the 88's not 98's. second, anyone can say they have had d-1 offers. as for verbal commitments, 5 from that team have committed so far..Mueller, Carman, Okposo and Johnson all to Gophs' and McBain to Wisconsin
