If I recall correctly, Thunder's been to NDP the last 2 years also.... I heard she had a strong showing. Also went to Vermont with one of the MN teams and by all reports had a strong showing.

I realize that most people already have Nixon's name engraved on the trophy. Granted, she's put up some good numbers, but let's not forget the other candidates. Osborn and Bemidji are still playing. She's somewhat unorthodox, but very athletic....and they are still playing. Thunder from CEC's number...

Man, did we get our money's worth on that one.... What a game!! C-E-C hung in there, but the Lightning showed their grit. Congratulations and good luck at State. Show them metro folks that there's more to Girls Hockey than section 6AA.

Here's to another hard fought Section 7AA final. Erickson is phenominal and GRG seem to have peaked ant the right time. C-E-C stumbled a bit late in the year, but seem to have righted the ship. #20 for CEC will be busy. Regardless of who wins, a very deserving team will be headed to state. Last year...
