Re: Rochester hockey
Is there youth program down also in talent? These things ebb and flow for a variety of reasons, biggest of which is that a city of 100,000 is feeding 4 high schools vs some TC suburbs with that many feeding one high school +/- a private school. JM is on the rise and I really like what Coach Lecy is...

I like the chances Ma Y o has this year at getting to state. It will not be short of drama and excitement at the Rec Center though in the Semi-finals and the finals. The top 4-6 teams in this section could win on A ny G iven night. I fear that the lack of depth over the entire section does not bode ...

ANybody seen that Big Nine record Book on the Big Nine standings website http://sports.smumn.edu/bignine/ In my opinion, unless you have a complete record book for the conference, then don't post one that leaves people out. It is quite obvious when looking at the leader lists, there are teams that h...

Mayo to win big 9...Thauwald is nice, didn't get screwed, didn't fit in very well, good luck to him...If anything, when you have family involved on a team, the scrutiny is harder, so really, those kids get pushed and criticized more than anybody because of perception...they are just kids...let 'em p...

Anybody see the game between these two a few weeks ago? Mayo took it to South, then in the last minute and five seconds caved in to let South tie the game. Surely South will come to play, but given the same situation Mayo will not let that happen again. I see a great game between these two teams. If...

State: Private School Bracket vs. Public School Bracket
Here is an idea for the State Tourney: Go back to one class tourney, but have a 16 team tournament with the brackets starting out seperated between private schools and Public Schools. Then on the last day of the tourney the place holders of the respective brackets would face off to determine the ove...

Derek Boogergard has some serious dangles . He'll dangle your face till its unrecognizable. I wanna go to the Booger Fight Camp to learn how to dangle from The Boogerman. I got his autograph when he was at the mall the other day....Shook his hand....he just about dangled my hand it was so powerful. ...

I really hate to say this, but there are actually some decent teams in Wisconsin (Eau Claire Memorial, Superior, Onalaska, etc...). I am not saying that La Crescent is going to win the section. All I am saying is that they may get overlooked by a team like Lourdes, especially since Lourdes has a coa...

Are you kidding me with that prediction of la crescent over lourdes. Why is everyone so high on lacrescent, honestly look at their schedule. They don't play anyone who's even close to contention in 1a. I have no idea about all the wisconsin teams they play but with a 5-3 win over Winona, and narrow...

Do you think?
Do you think that the coaches in their right minds would do the seeding based on what you said eagle4life? Or, are the coaches actually quite ethical and seed the teams based on who they think are the best teams in the section and rank order on down. Another thing, all of the teams in the section ra...

Are you kidding me SE NUT...There is no doubt who I was referring to when I predicted 6-0. No doubt that good hockey players need to make good plays to play a good game. No doubt Mayo HAS players that make good plays. No doubt Mayo 6-0. Penalties over under: 15?....I would no doubt pick the under th...
