Hanowski did not show this weekend... A little dissapointed, they did not take the Blaine tournament seriously. With a 3-2 win over a JV team, and a 5-1 loss against Mankato which they dominated last season at the consolation finals at the "Lucia Arena" A ball busting 7-3 win and now a 5-1...

Re: Get a clue zezima

I wouldn't put any stock in zezima's observation of Ben from the Hockeyfest in Alex....which is basically a fun, low level HS tourney vs. less skilled players (compared to Ben)...but anybody who has watched Ben play MN Select 15. 16 or 17, for Team USA in 2006, or in Elite League the past 2 years......

I do agree it was lower level high school tournament. We will see this weekend when little falls takes on Elk River, I might even make the trip down there to see if my observation was correct!
Prediction: Little Falls Beats Elk River 8-2
Little Falls Looses To Mankato 7-5

Sylvester Not A Loss.

Sylvester was not a very big loss to the flyers, sure he was a decent stick handler but the kid had no size. lay an enforcer on him early in the game and im sure he would think twice. Its great to see old benny stay, hopefully those flyer boys will have a chance at state again this season.
