Even though Edina is losing much of last year's offensive production to graduation, their real strength this past year was in their overall balance and team defense. No doubt with their returning goalie, their deep youth program plus a very good JV team they will be tough again defensively next year...

FWIW the IceCats have long been stacked. They are supposed to win. Like the Team MN Elite before them, and a few years of Walser inbetween, and then a year of the Lightning... It's tough to compete with these teams. It will be fun to see what the ever changing AAA landscape brings this season with ...

Although Minnetonka should be improved it will take more than 3 or 4 talented girls moving up from U14 to make Minnetonka a real contender. My predicted order of finish in the Classic Lake: 1.
