Blake - 4

Birkholt assist on winner w/about 3 min left in 3rd - didn't catch the scorer.

Blake & Holy Family

The Blake fwds better keep their heads up Tuesday night. HF's Earls pummelled a couple of Providence kids who tried to break out of the zone with their heads down or looking back. I'm not saying the hits were dirty they were about as hard a hits as I've seen and that's all he's really looking to do ...

This was an amazing game. I came to see Gardinier #19 and he didn't dissapoint. I was behind the Hopkins goal on his OT winner, Fons had the puck but the shot was so hard his glove twisted and the puck went in! There were lots of scouts and I bet they noticed Max Gardinier (#27) his soph kid brother...

MNHocker444 - were you at the Orono - Delano game? If so you must have been sitting in the lobby or maybe in the scorers box - they never get the shots right either. I heard the Orono Stat guy say the shots were O=49 D=33. Delano had at least 7 odd-man rushes, scoring on one. The final Delano goal w...
I think it is great that FSN is doing HS games. Gives me a chance to see games that i can't get to.
davey's right - being able to see HS hockey on TV is huge! I bet FSN needs to get higher ratings and wants to turn more people into the kind of HS Hockey fans that ar...

"Blades Of Glory"

I vote for Scott Glenn - he's got the look & a neutral dialect. It would be too tough to teach Tommy Lee Jones how to say, "let's skate oooutside" or "boury the beeskit in the baasket."

If you're thinking about a "modification" I'd talk to George's Shoe repair on Grand in St. Paul - they can fix anything hockey & they'd be the best to give you an opinion. If that doesn't work - go for the Duct-Tape & Saw-zall treatment!

Two comments on Refs: -I can't stand it when a ref has to make sure everyone knows they're in charge - even when the game doesn't require it. An example is one of the main Dist5 guys (you know who he is) - he hates teams from the cities too! -Last year before a game I was coaching I asked a m...

OUTDOOR ICE

There are a few different ways to do this right: -Get a big nice ice liner & fill it by applying layers slowly (1/4 - ½ inch at a time) allowing the water to fully freeze before adding the next layer -Be careful not to let the water thaw out the previously frozen ice or you’ll lose it -Also make...
