STMA
I haven't got to see these guys play yet but i know they are about 7-5-2. Played alot of weak teams so far this season with the toughest being Orono in which they got handled 9-2. They have some decent forwards one being Kyle Rogers who led their team in scoring last year. My friend told me that if their goalie gets on, he's hard to get the puck by, but if you cluster shots he has a hard time controlling rebounds. Princeton should have no trouble running 4 lines against them straight through, i guess their defense are pretty weak and easily get burnt. Look for a blowout for the Tigers on Tuesday night, it could get ugly for STMA.

Re: STMA
Thanks for the imput on STMA we played them last year and they had a really good goalie proably the same kid. I am looking forward to a tough game with them. Umm I think Sauk is very good this year with streit wocken and pesckamp all really good players and they have a good goalie. Sartell maybe they are starting to come around. SCC time will tell but are really playing well as of late. Mora is struggling but I know as a player they are going to give you game no matter who is out. Umm Pine Cioty they are a very good underrated team they are tough. Denfeld thought you could write them off sounds like they are coming back strong and Moose Lake they had a good goalie and i am sure are better then we all think. thats just my opion.

Rankings
1 Sauk rapids
2 Princeton
3 St cloud
4 Sartell
5 Pine City
6 Denfeld
7 Proctor
8 Mora
9 Moose lake

Sauk isn't playing at their best but showed they haven't forgot to play hockey vs. Breck Still have a nice hockey team on there hands. Princeton is playing well but I don't see them as number 1. sauk Rapids has such great talent. St cloud is no better than average. From the games I saw they play 2 goalies. They are staying out of the box but are still slow. Sartell has a losing record yet plays with heart. Their goaltending seems to be improving and that turns the whole team around. Pine City isn't doing so well but still is doing better than then everyone below them. Their 1st line is solid but they need other production. Denfeld seems to improve. Impressed with latest upset and strong play. Proctor is not playing well and needs desperatly to pick it up. Mora has many problems and things just get worse. Speaking of worse: Moose Lake

Rankings
1)Princeton
2)Sauk Rapids
3)Sartell
4)SCC
5)Mora
6)Pine City
7)Duluth Denfield
8 ) Proctor
9)Moose Lake

Princeton- is my number 1 because they are the defending Champions, and until someone in the section proves they can beat them, which hasnt happened they are still number 1.

Sauk-Number 2. Not a lot of depth, but their big 3 of Wocken, Peskemp, and Streit make up for this, but teams with depth can beat them.

Sartel- Young team. Play with a lot of heart, and can make a game with almost anyone at anytime. Decent goalie.

SCC-Havent seen them play but from what I have heard they are young, and fairly good. May be the team of the future...

Mora-Would be a good team if they could control their Star Akkerman, and could stay out of trouble, and off suspension. Backed by an awesome goalie.

Pine City-From what I saw they have no D, and their first line is highly over-rated. Would be by Moose lake if it was not for there goalie. I am not sure if he had a good night but when I saw him he stopped 47 out of 49 shots. If they had some D this team could go places.

Duluth Denfield- This team did not impress me at all when they played princeton. However from what I heard as of late they are really starting to come on. So this may be their temporary spot.

Proctor-Seemed to be a physical team, but they were slow footed, and could not do much even with Princeton playing a horrible game.

Moose Lake-Havent seen them, from what I hear they have not improved.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub33.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUser ... gers>ptown tigers at: 1/13/03 11:48:42 am

someone cares
obviously someone cares other wise there would not be over 100 posts by 28 different people. That shows that someone cares. See if you can have people talk about your section that much.
Good Teams Would be Nothin without Good Water.....

hockeywriter
First of all, I was kind of defending you guys with my first post. Second of all, I'm not sure if you realize how ironic it is to call me stupid when you have about 10 mis-spelled words in your post. I shouldn't worry about another stupid response to this because you said you would not respond.

Re: hockeywriter
Ill respond for him, first off I guarentee Hockeywriter knows more then anyone else on this thread, maybe no the site, but this thread. And can you blame him that when he was in school they did not have computers and the such? Also it did sound like you were ripping on 2A you should have made it more specific.
Good Teams Would be Nothin without Good Water.....

funny
Ya that was not funny at all, I am the one that is supposed to be funny on this thread. Or at least make a pathetic attempt at being funny.

P.S. Schneider is still a puss who cant skate
Good Teams Would be Nothin without Good Water.....

Moose Lake
Not to say that Moose Lake has proved they belong anywhere else but where they are currently ranked until they get another quality win, but going from back to back 3 win and 5 win seasons to a 7-4 record including a 5-0 win vs Pine City early in the season and a 2-1 loss to Sartell in the Pine City Tournament should at least qualify them as a much improved team over last year??

2A
1.Princeton
2.Sauk Rapids
3.Sartell
4.Pine City
5.SCC
6.Mora
7.Proctor
8.Denfeld
9.Moose Lake

1.Princeton- This team is really playing the best possible hockey that they can right now. I love their defensive pairings and their forward lines. Still not so impressed with how there top line is supposively one of the best but they are close. If their goaltending can improve, they will walk to the tourney.
2.Sauk Rapids- In the playoffs you can't live on 3 players, especially against the better teams. But these 3 players (wocken, peskscamp, and cook) are really dominant and if their goalie gets hot, look out in the playoffs. Really impressed me with the 3-2 game with Breck, even without wocken.
3.Sartell- This team is so young and talented. They have all the drive that a good team needs to win and that's what could carry them. Alot of good young players in Bruss, Sauer on D, and a few others. Could surprise alot of people.
4.Pine City-This team is improving vastly. If there Defense can step it up about 8 or 9 more knotches, they will be in good shape. There goaltending lately has been fanominal in Samuelson i believe his name is. If there top line can produce in the playoffs and there goalie stays hot, coudl pull some huge upsets.
5.SCC- Sorry to all the St Cloud Cathedral fans but this team hasn't impressed me yet. Yes, they have a solid record but no they haven't played very good teams lately, besides the fact they played benild and lost close. Benilde probably had a really bad game. We'll see in some of there next tests how they do.
6.Mora-Really struggling as of lately. Need to get there team back and straighten things out. ONce everyone is back together, this team will be a force, but with only one line that can produce. Don't even count them out, they will find a way to win.
7.Proctor- been struggling lately. HOpefully can get back on track here in the next couple weeks. Walsh, Talarico need to pick up their game and carry this team.
8. and 9 are explained well by everyone else
THis is just how i see things.

Coached them at the Bantam level with Raduns.....IF they had him it would be lights out in that section.
