Its almost more fun to predict trouts predictions, than to predict the game.

Im thinking trout goes, Hutch 5 Luverne 1. He will say hutch has more talent, and the senior goalie will make the difference. Also will say the game in hutch has absolutely no bearing or give zero indication of what may happen at gustavus.

I bet he picks Willmar over New Ulm in overtime, or something along those lines. He is going to say both teams are good, but willmar has the seniors and the coaching to take this one.

As for notTONIGHT's boring predictions.

Luverne 7 hutch 3

Willmar 4 NUSE 1

Luverne Fans have you not learned anything from last season. This game with Hutch is going to be a very tough and hard fought battle. There are no more blow games to be played. Let hope the players understand that because the fan have yet to figure it out.
Nibble.... Nibble.... Nibble.... TROUT!!!!!!!

Hope this second game is officiated better than the first. I think even trout could see that. Let's just say that the "favored" hutch team choked. Right trout? Meyer played well, admit it trout! After you bashed him for a year. Can we put the officials names out there for a ckoe job also, since trout has bashed 14-18 year olds on here publicly. At least they are grown men. They can handle it. Trout you know everybody, who were they? To say they were clueless is a major understatement.

Six minutes left in first period and willmar up 3-0. New film goalie not good. Only 5 shots.New ulm defense forgot to get on the bus. WIllmar is controlling all parts of the game.

Nuse needs to turn it up quickly or they can warm up the bus.

Great period for nuse, tied 3-3. Questionable officiating in this one also. I thought these games were supposed to have good officials. I didn't come here to watch the stripes.

Good job new ulm in period two. Complete 180. Kept pressure on willmar net and got 3 this period. Tied going into third. Willmar has power play on 5 minute head contact majorfrom new ulm. I'd disagree with poor officiating comment. Think they are calling a good game so far. I anticipate a third period full of new ulm penalties. They play like bulls in a china shop. Their goalie came up with a few good saves for them in second.

Good officials don't call major penalties in a close game.

When u fly at another player from across the net it should be a major. I do think new ulm got screwed out of what should have been an interference call in neutral zone. Otherwise no complaints.

5-4 nuse, I wanted nuse to win, but man, another penalty called in o.t.?? Why do the stripes have to be the center of attention?

You should whine about the officiating some more. Seems to me you need something to bitch about no matter what and its always about the official. If you could do a better job maybe you should get out there and do it.

Sorry Mr. Official, but neither of these games had any flow. The first games had about ten conferences where they were trying to figure out a call. I go to watch the kids, not some ego maniacs that were picked on in high school.

I expect nothing less from someone that doesn't understand the game.

Yup you got it. Can't wait to see the excuses about the officials on Wednesday. Then hear about em again once the state tournament starts. I am sure you can't even skate and have never played the game.
