Hm... Evidently, the Twins
claimed Alan Embree off waivers, but Oakland pulled him back.
Thanks for the favor, A's. What in the world would the Twins want with another left handed reliver who's worse than both Reyes and Breslow?!

I dont know. Maybe they like the new excitement that the bullpen is creating and want to add more stress to the late innings.

They also claimed
Jerrod Washburn ... Again, not thrilled with this one either, but the way this guy has the Twins' plan drawn out, it kind of makes a little more sense. They obviously need bullpen help, and they may be looking toward Blackburn or Perkins for it.

I'd welcome that, as long as we didn't have to give up one of our young starters like the blogger suggests. Unless of course, the young pitcher's name starts with BOO!

I was going to come in running my mouth, but this was against Silva for crying out loud. Even Frank himself probably could've put up a 1-4 with an RBI, and then we'd be talking about his monster night.

Just a heads-up to set your DVRs (or VCRs for you old timers) to FSN at noon or 6:00 to relive one of the many, many brilliant moments in our hero's career in which he hit his walk-off grand slam to win a game against the world champion Red Sox from last season.
Just thought you'd all want to know...

For crying out loud... now we're onto ripping him for his interview skills?! I don't think even PB would reach that low. It's not like either Mauer or Morneau are exactly Mr. Personality either. Besides, he's from South Dakota - it's a miracle he can speak at all.

Nah, the game was "ova" after three. Great job by Slowey.
