Time for puck drop. I'm kind of disappointed that there are no longer free live streams available for video. Looks like I'm listening from Omaha. Luvurne needs to be quick to start to have any chance. Good luck to both teams!

I think the Iraqi Army had more of a chance than Luverne does today.

Luvurne is showing some physicality. Lets hope they are getting some of the nerves out quickly.

Still think Hermantown will win, but I must say, from what I've watched, Luvurne belongs in St. Paul.....

As I type that, Luvurne ties it on the PP, 1-1

That's a huge goal for the Cards. Starting to pick up the pace now.

Jaxon Nelson is going to be really, really good. I'd be surprised if he stays in Luverne much longer.

After those shaky first five minutes, Luverne didn't look bad at all. They finally started breaking out with some fluidity, and those top two lines can skate with Hermantown. They've really got to avoid odd-man situations and penalties, but they're not out of this thing.

Jaxon Nelson 8th grader is gonna be a HELL of a player. Already very good for his age and I heard someone say he is supposed to only be a 7th grader??

If the start a parade to the box, they're going to get blown out. They must stay disciplined and hope that they can mainly roll those top two and catch a few bounces. Depth could be the X Factor in this one.

He looked about 5'7 two summers ago and was big for his age.. Have him listed at the beginning of the season at 6'1, but looks 6'2+ now.
