Well boys, its been another beautiful day outside. I know jackdaniels would call it "Miami Beach" , even though he really doesnt know where that is.

He , like a lot of other US Americans, is geographically challenged, as such.

CDH is at Mounds View tonight. I would be warmer if they played it outside. Hey Mustangs, get a new rink. Luckily, we are all rich and can afford those Ugg boots and the Columbia stuff.

I have to get out and take care of a few more gifts. Maybe tommorrow, or the next day. I guess there is plenty of time.

Ill be taking a 4 day weekend over Christmas and then enjoying the Schwans Cup right after. I need a break.

With a little time off, a little HS hockey, my kids being home at Christmas and the celebration of His birth coming up.."Its Like a Dream Come True"

Maybe after the Holidays we can figure out a thread that wont get locked out.

Excellent suggestion. But any success in that regard would be a "Fluke".

I'm going to miss the "Cup" this year, heading off to boblee's gods country on the 26th. I'm bringing dogzilla too, so when I get fed up with the inlaws I'll go hunt some grouse.

I'm off till the 2nd, Its a dream come true!

Ah, sorry boys but there are a number of dining experiences in the neon city down here that are not available up in flannel shirt land.

packerboy is no expert resturant critic but has spent some time up in Gods country and enjoys all of the restaurants mentioned. Also, Bar Harbor and Sherwood Forest .

Bar Harbor is one of my favorite spots on a summer night.
I liked the old decor more but a steak and some au gratins after drinking something clear and very dry on the deck well , "Its Like a Dream Come True"

However, nothing in the Great Northland can compare with Manny's nor Rossi's for a supper club kind of place and there's no place for seafood like Oceanaire. Rossi's also has jazz and blues across the hall most nights.

Love the food up North but dining in downtown Minneapolis ......"Its Like a Dream Come True" ......... ah, except when you get the bill ....then "Its Like a Nightmare"

I noticed that the Fiesta could use some new rubber PB...never make it to 4000 on those skins.

Neut Manny's can't be the same without all the lingering cigar smoke.
The haze was a part of the atmosphere.
Made the food taste better too!

There is something about finishing a bloody steak meal with a cigar and a snifter of cognac or B&B that definitely is a dream come true!

Before the sun sets on another glorious day, there are just a few things I have to get off my chest.

Tubby and Boys keep picking 'em up and puttin' down, Santa Clara's gracious gesture to travel way out east for a pre holiday tilt just put the Basketball Gophers one win closer to March Madness.

My guy Homer Drew and his Lutheran Crusaders from Indiana's second most famous parochial institution put quite a scare into Bucky last night only to fall in the last two minutes.

Ah the Pirates, they've now gone nine days without losing a contest, that number will swell to fourteen before they get a crack at those pasty eaters from Virginia up at the Ralph next week.

The Wild just got abused by the Red Wings again, but hey, they' don't have to figure out how to beat them until April, maybe even May, I'm sure Jacques will have the solution by then.

Oh yes, I can't forget the purple, the rumor is they have a big one tonight at the Dome. Me being the king of low expectations doesn't care if they even win, I'm just happy they have a meaningful game on TV this late in the year.

I'm living the life and It's like a Dream Come True.
