Crandall

Post by money »

Hello,

Interesting comment regarding Justin Crandall...
It is interesting in the fact that his older brother is @ UMD as a 3rd goalie behind Hjelle and Reiter. Hopefully, he will work hard and earn a start here soon vs Clarkson or afterwards.

Time will tell i guess if he joins big brother or not.
Appreciate the comment.
FYI...Crandall had a nice Elite League playing with future UMD'er Herbert. I wouldn't mind if they stay linemates up North someday :)

Corrin

Post by money »

Good evening,

Unless someone else knows, at this pt...strictly rumor. :?:
I thought Corrin played well at the Elite League-NIT tournament at the end of the year. After junior hockey, he most likely will play D-1 hockey.
Nice player.

In the Star Tribune, UMD is mentioned with interest in two BSM players - Meyers (G) and Horn (F). Also, Tyson Fulton is listed as a player on UMD's radar too.

I know you posted this a while back but I missed the thread.. Delisle seems to be having a real problem getting used to the speed of the college game.. and he hasn't figured out how to use his 6'5 frame to his advantage either.

UMD's coach Sandelin pretty much told us all in the newspaper that this would happen to the guy this season.. when he mentioned that the season openers would be a huge eye opener for the freshmen and Delisle especially.

The guy has the size for the next level and he may have to leave college early and play in the minors to become a Boogard type player if he doesn't become an offensive threat by the end of his Sophomore season. That's pretty much the route taken by Jay Rosehill who was on the Maple Leafs roster for a portion of the early NHL season.

Good afternoon,

I read over at MN Hockey Hub that Steve Fogarty of Edina has visited UMD (along with CC and Dartmouth). Only the Ivy school has offered according to the story.

Any idea if UMD is after Fogarty or anyone else for that matter?
Been pretty quiet besides the Cameranesi verbal this fall.

Regards,
