Yeah we were cheering, but whats there to get creative with, go hounds go? Come on, give us some fans to cheer at or come to a game with 2 student sections.
There's always that opposing team on the ice to yell at. At the heritage center, the student section is right on top of the goalie, get in the kid's head. I was just expecting a little more after all the talk on here about how good the East students are.
Im pretty sure we gave your goalie a hard time, and a bunch of your players.

no way.

Como has the best fans ever!

All they ever chant no matter what is "Como Cougars"

although it usually doesn't make too much sense, as many of them are always drunk

Hahahaha that's what I've been trying to say this whole time. The biggest thing I dislike about the WBL fans is the fact that they care more about what goes on in the stands than what goes on in the ice.
Everyone hates private schools (and Edina)!!

You've got it all wrong, bud. Although I'm sure you know the the entire thought process of the [amazing] WBL student section, you're wrong. Unlike many schools, we actually do care about whats going on in the games. If that wasn't the case, why would we even bother to show up at games that we knew there was no section? At both the Cloquet and Park games there was not even one person in the stands to cheer against - yet there we all were, cheering on our bears. Get over your jealousy for one second and think about what your saying.

so komada, your saying that, "always were" and "thats debateable" chants when people go in and out of the box, and "hack" chants for penalties, and "goalie, seive" chants dont require paying attention to the game?hmm...considering the only woodbury chant ive ever heard doesnt even involve any cheereg (aka hit the button), I wouldnt be talking

I'm pretty sure you didn't, seeing I was there to take in a good hockey game. I have no ties to either team, so good try 8)
And if dead silence is a hard time, you guys did a good job.

You've probly only seen one Woodbury game and that was the one at aldrich a couple weeks ago. The fact that you post on this board and talk about how awesome the WBL student section is even when you guys were like 1-3. Most players don't like when their fans do chants like "that's debatable" or "always were" when they are losing, which is why most schools don't do them. If you wanna do "lets go bears" or something like that to try and get ur team fired up when they're down, go ahead, but stop cheering like you're winning when you're not.

Sorry to switch the pace you guys have going on excellent student sections but I just have to say, I never expected the perennial ruthlessness and dedication of the Osseo student section to dwindle. I was at an Oriole game recently and the student section that I was excited to see had lowly numbers and they were next to none in the chants column. Someone from Osseo please tell me that a tradition lie that isnt going to end due to a down team when you lost a handful of good players (one being a very strong goaltender that was Moody)

i was not impressed with the WBL section tonight. not very big, and apparently they cant hold their liquor. poor girl might have just been sick from seeing her team fall apart like they did. i saw from above by the concession stands and student sections looked pretty even so maybe WBL can finally get off their high horse

Haha that was so funny when that girl threw up. Typical WBL fashion though with that one. I will give credit to WBL on the size of their student section, but I thought that they would be a little bit more rowdy and it seemed like half the time most of their students didn't know what was going on or what they were supposed to be saying. They are a good student section but not the most amazing of all time like they like to think they are.
