Man, you're still giving those cows a rough ride.
actually 3) is something else so pull up a stool and I'll give you and anyone else some insight on how Crookston players have been programmed over the last two decades. In most years, they believe they can beat anyone on a given night. The 07-08 Pirates don't have the psyche or the defeatest baggage often associated with 3 win teams. When they've taken a beat down, it hasn't been from a lack of effort or desire, it has more to do with physical skills/strength. If you look at their scores, some this year and many in the past, they have competed on many nights when they aren't running out the horses other teams have. Now I can't speak first hand for every Crookston squad throughout the years but the ones I have known, have all had the same common denominator. Crookston is not in aw of anyone in 8A because they've been playing these guys since they were 10 years old. Bemidji is just a team who's smallest guy would be our largest, EGF is just Easide, TRF is just turf, and Warroad is just..yes, a place that makes windows and markets them all over the country. "Drop the puck and let's go."
I hear ya Shanty.
We made it to state my senior year, when it was just one class, but we had a VERY tough time against the PI-RATES.
You remember Jim Clausen, Ron Muir, etc. ONE very good line. Clausen was a very good hockey player.
